Just watching, the web cam Doctors.

CrowdedHouseinQuarantine · 12/06/2020 22:53

oh i enjoyed that.

ExpletiveDelighted · 12/06/2020 23:26

I've just finished watching. I didn't want Ruhma to die, that would have been too much. I wonder how they managed the hospital scene.

They all looked really good and acted brilliantly. I wonder where Sid was? Shak and Val stole the show for me.

Redshoeblueshoe · 13/06/2020 00:34

I'm just watching now, and so far I'm finding it shit.

Redshoeblueshoe · 13/06/2020 00:57

26 minutes in.
Val is fabulous

Redshoeblueshoe · 13/06/2020 01:06

Gobby would actually be one of the people who think the rules don't apply to her.

Redshoeblueshoe · 13/06/2020 01:16

I'm going to puke now. . . .

Redshoeblueshoe · 13/06/2020 01:18

Sorry but I thought it was shit

ExpletiveDelighted · 13/06/2020 08:01

Very mixed reactions! The big question is, what are we all going to do at 1.45 on weekdays now?

ageingdisgracefully · 13/06/2020 08:46

Hopefully they'll put something else on? Repeat Red Rock?

ExpletiveDelighted · 13/06/2020 08:49

The FB Live thing said they are planning to start shooting again in July which is great news. They said one problem is that they won't be able to use PPE to make it look realistic on set as you aren't allowed to use PPE for anything except actual protection at the moment and even if they mocked up PPE it would likely cause a reaction from the public thinking it was real and depriving the NHS.

Sertchgi123 · 13/06/2020 14:34

I loved Val in this, she's a star.

Madhairday · 13/06/2020 16:34

Val was awesome. loved her stuffing cake in front of the yoga and her little routine for Al. Brilliant.

I did enjoy this but some of it was a bit government propaganda-ish and not brilliantly acted. I forgive them though as overall i loved it.

MadisonAvenue · 13/06/2020 18:28

I thought the same Madhairday I enjoyed it but it came across a bit like a public information film. In fact I could see it being shown in school history lessons in 50 years time.

Val was brilliant, I loved the bit with her and Al and also the cake scoffing.

Redshoeblueshoe · 13/06/2020 19:21

Next week they are showing The Heights, I have no idea what it is.

Sertchgi123 · 13/06/2020 20:01

I wonder if we will ever find out what happened with Rhuma!

Raahh · 13/06/2020 20:12

Sertchi it was really daft, since the writers must have known when they made the decision to make the lock down episode what the last 'proper' episode to be broadcast would be- so it would not have been difficult to say something about why she was suddenly allowed to work again. Even in passing! It's as if they think we have forgotten (in 24 hoursHmmGrin).

Raahh · 13/06/2020 20:15

Red I think it is one of the many Australian dramas that the BBC fill the schedules with when they have a gap Grin.

I did quite enjoy '5 Rooms' though or whatever it was called, that was on earlier in the year. '800 Words' has finished now, sadly, because I really liked that one!

'Red Rock' in now over- it ended with a 2 episode thing thing, that I nearly missed.

I am wondering what the Beeb will fill the next few months with, they have hours to fill!

Redshoeblueshoe · 13/06/2020 21:06

I don't think that they have actually finished the series. On my TV last week's episodes were coming up as 145/190. But I don't get it as it usually finishes at Wimbledon, sorry to use that word Raah

Raahh · 13/06/2020 21:18

No- they haven't finished where they should, usually they finish at the end of June. So they were a couple of weeks early, I think they mentioned it in the FB thing. They are definitely better off than a lot of soaps I think. I watch Hollyoaks - they must be regretting the flash forward episode now, that start last New Year's Eve, and should end this NYE . Be very hard to make it work.

bellabelly · 14/06/2020 14:50

Aw, I was hoping they'd show that one with the Cornish coroner. That was good. Or a new series of Five Rooms, I liked that.

FuzzyPuffling · 14/06/2020 17:55

Bella, we liked that one too. The leaning over tree in the credits has found family fame...all leaning over trees (and there are plenty here, I live in Cornwall) are called "Coroner Trees".

The policeman in that was an out and out baddie in the Bill.

OP posts:
bellabelly · 14/06/2020 18:31

Heehee, I love that, coroner trees!

Funster73 · 15/06/2020 22:33

Only just watched the lockdown episode! I know, I know..I’ve had a mad couple of weeks so playing catch up.

I loved it...defo an award in the bag there - they get my vote!!

Val was ace, Al was ace.
I love Shak even more and I think I’ve got something in my eye cos there’s water coming out sniffle

Going to miss all this madness....

CarrieBlue · 15/06/2020 22:53

Did I miss where Sid was in the lockdown episode?
