New thread for season finale.

OP posts:
Raahh · 12/06/2020 14:26

They can't play this, it makes me cry.

SockYarn · 12/06/2020 14:26

this is making me all teary and I can't even stand Ruhma.

bellabelly · 12/06/2020 14:27

Sniffling away here...

FuzzyPuffling · 12/06/2020 14:27

She got better quickly. Now, off to Tuscany to recuperate please.

OP posts:
Raahh · 12/06/2020 14:28

Well, that was different.

I love Shak.

Binglebong · 12/06/2020 14:29

They really need to be recognised in the soap awards for that episode.

SockYarn · 12/06/2020 14:30

Shak and Val the stars of that episode. Val's twitter is worth a look too. twitter.com/moylie69

bellabelly · 12/06/2020 14:30

Yes, Binglebong, they definitely deserve an award for that.

Raahh · 12/06/2020 14:31

A lot of the questions in the FB thing were about how they often get snubbed by the TV Baftas, inparticular, even though they do standout things like the Dickens episode.

LIZS · 12/06/2020 14:33

loved Val's flamingos and stuffing her face with cake instead of getting fit. They got over the whole Ruhma suspension thing pretty quickly.

Raahh · 12/06/2020 14:33

Sock yes, Sarah's twitter is very funny.

I do hope we keep Shak.

Raahh · 12/06/2020 14:34

LIZS yes, it was a bit odd really, given how big the storyline has been for the past few weeks- right up to yesterday. Suddenly, she's back at work, no discussion of how it happened.

user1471479662 · 12/06/2020 16:35

Shak said that Rhuma had become a volunteer to work on the maternity ward.

Raahh · 12/06/2020 16:36

I wouldn't have thought she would be able to even volunteer though, if she was suspended.

JustDanceAddict · 12/06/2020 16:45

That was great, but yes confusing re Rhuma.
I thought it was an episode which didn’t have much bearing on current storylines.
Loved Val stuffing her face!!
Was a bit tearyvat the end...

Susiesoap7 · 12/06/2020 16:47

That was the best episode they have ever done!
Except for ruhma 😜

pearlypidge · 12/06/2020 16:52

I'm just watching now (after watching the rest of this weeks's episodes back to back - that's dedication (or lockdown boredom) for you!)

Did anyone spot the different desktop icons lurking behind the camera screens?

Jimmi's are all v organised - folders for "work", "Al's quiz" "desktop cleanup".

Val had an icon with a cat Grin

ExpletiveDelighted · 12/06/2020 16:54

I missed it! I watched the FB live thing then had a zoom with friends, I tried having the TV on with subtitles but couldn't follow both. So later I will pour myself a glass of wine, catch up with it and the thread.

Raahh · 12/06/2020 18:54

Pearly I didn't notice that! might have to re-watch for the finer details!

pearlypidge · 12/06/2020 19:17

Raahh - now that would be dedication! Maybe fast forward through most of it, though... it was good episode, but maybe not good enough to watch twice!

I do like the way the producers manage to slip little stuff in like that, though.

Oh, and right at the end on Al's computer there was a little flying saucer icon Smile

Sertchgi123 · 12/06/2020 19:19

Thanks for the new thread.

Raahh · 12/06/2020 19:33

Pearly I will be fast forwarding the majority, certainly- definitely the ICU doctor bits! Grin

Tears. Everywhere.

Its episodes like that which make me forgive them the dross.

LadyMuck111 · 12/06/2020 22:16

I only saw half of this episode. What happened? Did rhuma get the rona?
