ajandjjmum Crossroads was a classic! Sometimes the walls which weren't walls but plyboard, started wobbling. And then there was Benny with the woolly hat!

And Miss Diane! Benny (or the guy who played him) opened a bar in St. Paul's area called 'The Last Drop' - apparently it was the place where the last hanging in Birmingham took place. Sadly closed eventually, but I remember going there when I was much younger!

What I loved about Crossroads was the delayed acting. Hard to explain, but it was like one of them was holding a teapot mid air for instance. The cameras started rolling but they were a bit late in putting the teapot down.

It’s funny how Maureen is on Gogglebox though, which I think is during lockdown, they’re certainly spaced apart. Why can’t she do Corrie if she can do Gogglebox?

I wonder if it's because of number of crew needed? I haven't watched goggle box for years but it looks like they set a camera up and that's about it. Corrie has camera men, boom operators, directors, producers, other cast, runners, wardrobe, makeup so on and so on.

Yes they must have their reasons.

Bit behind the curve here but just watched last night's Corrie. Evelyn struggling to say the word 'apologise' was hilarious. Hated her character at first but now she brings much hilarity and I love her.

I didn't like her either to start with and also, weren't there hints she wasn't really Tyrone's gran ? What happened there ?

It never really got resolved, they just dropped the storyline and she was accepted as his gran.

Don't forget Amy Turtle! I remember when they introduced a character called Nina, a child who had Down Syndrome and I was pleased with that as I had a brother and uncle with learning difficulties and people with SEN were never seen on TV.

Kev came out of the cafe tonight looking like he’d had a month in Barbados, then in the garage he was back to pale again. Ditto Nick, although he wasn’t as tanned.

Speed Dahl had more staff tonight than I’ve ever seen in it. And only 2 customers!

Annoyingly I had one DC yattering away and missed lots of it.

Except.... Geoff stole Aliyah's phone and rang Yasmeen. Not sure prisons work quite like that TBH. (I've done some work with prisons) but hey ho let's not get in the way of a good storyline!
