I hope they don’t. There are enough dull plot lines as it is. The virus makes real life dull enough, it would be tedious in a soap (although they could use it as an excuse to get rid of some duff characters!)

That could mean anything!

Remember when just before lockdown they had Geoff asking Yazmeen if she'd washed her hands while singing happy birthday. Presumably slotted in? I suppose stickers on the floor and the odd comment will cover it, without it becoming a major storyline.

I think I saw something that said the singing happy birthday was a coincidence.

Perhaps they’ll have a few extras wandering around with face masks and Tyrone’s gran shouting at people for not observing the gaps!

Oh Evelyn would be in her element policing everyone’s distancing and clapping for the NHS. I would love to see that.

And Gemma would have to wear a face mask so we wouldn't notice her gob hanging open.

It would muffler some shouters if masks were used, Leanne for one. And the stupid baby voices of Steve, fizz and Tyrone.

It would also cover Daniel's horrible beard.

Did any one else notice the increased sound effects in tonight’s episode. The rustling of evelyns coat and the sound of the plate flipping through the air.
I assume it’s something to do with post covid filming

I think they’re working with fewer crew members so possibly not as much editing on the sound happening.

Btw did Simon look about 8 years old to anyone else when he was sitting side on in that chair in the pub’s back room?

Yes he looked little boy lost. It took me ages to work out why he was in the pub with Jenny. Where is he sleeping?

This wasn't slotted in. It was written before and a child told their parent they had to sing it in school and so they used it.

Sooo glad Geoff isn't allowed to go in and see Yasmeen. He is mega frustrated now.

How come Simon was allowed to wander in behind the bar? I thought that was strictly forbidden for under 18s? Even when my brothers pub was closed he didn't let my DC go behind the bar to get anything.

Don't think any of the scenes with Evelyn can be new, I read that none of the over-70s were going to be allowed to film scenes during lock down.

I cant imagine that any scenes are new. Theyve only been back filming about a week or so.
