Just watched first episode. Mainly watching for an Ibiza nostalgia trip down memory lane. Think it might be quite binge-worthy unless it’s absolutely dreadful!

Im halfway through the first episode right now. Not sure about it to be honest, I'll probably give it another episode and then decide weather to carry on with it

It's a bit crap but we liked the first one enough to keep watching.

Watched the first 3 episodes last night. Lots of reminiscing, DH and I went to Ibiza pre children and lots of hazy memories

I think it's fairly good, going to watch some more tonight.

I'm on episode 2. It's proper shit, but I'm hoping it will improve.

We liked it for exactly the same reasons! Only on episode one, but it was good we thought.

I'm nearly finished, enjoyable nonsense I thought!

Would watch Daniel Mays in anything.

The dodgy Manc accents used by some are hilarious 😄.

Yeah why have they made them from Manchester? They could have been from anywhere! Daniel Mays accent was dreadful!

I'm on episode 6. It's sort of awful but I'm not feeling 100% and it's relatively compelling watching..... I've never been to Ibiza so can't even pretend I'm watching it for that, I just love a murder mystery.....

I'm also loving Lawrence Fox as the Mancunian hippy. And the coke-snorting dogs. And Boxer is quite hot. So is Oriel.

Didn’t explain that well. I mean she’s saying “eye-bitha”. Makes me cringe!

She’s doing a Leeds accent, not Manchester.

The one playing Axel has nailed the Mancunian.

Just watching the 2nd episode. The timing is all wrong and it’s annoyed me. The police weren’t shutting down illegal raves in 1996!

Yeah the music is more early 90s.

Finished watching it and I loved it.
I wish she had run off with Boxer he was super hot hopefully they may do another season and we get to see more of Boxer and Zoe together.

But something tells me if they did do another season it would be more following Marcus and the Calafat family.

I've watched two episodes. It's not that great but because I love the actors and my nostalgia for Ibiza I am sticking with it.

I think they should have either got actors who were actually from Manchester or made the group from south England.

The programme had so much potential and I was really looking forward to it but it does seem a bit meh.

We think it's shit, like something on bbc2 at 3 in the afternoon. Terrible acting. Dh has just read the book and says it's a good story so we'll persevere...plus what else are we going to do (sobs quietly)

Wasn't sure if Whitelines would be my sort of thing. After a reading this thread might give it a go

I'm on episode 8, and enjoying it! Love the music but few things have annoyed me.. how the hell have they all got massive houses? And I'm pretty sure most the tattoos that the flashback people have didn't exist in "96 , or some of the clothes, and the spoon that axel had in his heroin kit annoyed me too 😆

Oh and also ... boxer ... 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Half way through this. Entertaining but omg the accents! Use Mancunians or say they were from London! Laurence Fox is the worse. Dire. Athough it seems to have settled down a bit by midway.

The other thing that they have got wrong is the timelines imo. I was clubbing in London and Ibiza in 1996 and it was already very mainstream, big superclubs, international DJs etc. The initial working class boys from Manchester invent raving and open their own small clubs was much earlier I think, late eighties, v early nineties maybe. Also their house in Manchester in 96 looks like something from the 80s if not 70s.
