Just watched first episode. Mainly watching for an Ibiza nostalgia trip down memory lane. Think it might be quite binge-worthy unless it’s absolutely dreadful!

I've just finished it. Enjoyed it - agree it's like addictive trash and escapism. Made me want to go live in Ibiza - though I'd do without the involvement with drugs and crime families. It's beautiful, and just the idea of warm sunny evenings outside kept me watching. (Also, I do like a murder-mystery.) That, and Boxer...

On the accent side of things (we will not speak of the hideous job done by Laurence Fox). I'm not from Manchester but do people from Manchester tend to say "f" for "th"? In my mind, they generally don't. Axel and Marcus said eye-bee-fa (I know neither actor is from Manchester Axel actor is from Cardiff and Marcus is from Essex I think).

There might have been other actors saying like that but those are the two that kept leaping out at me. Though I think the accents tended to wander quite a lot in all areas of pronunciation.

Was gutted the love story didn’t give an ending - did she not get with boxer then?

Who knows, it's possible. I felt power washing him at close range, just after hitting him at speed with a car might have put him off but he still looked interested.

People from Manchester are not a homogenous group. Most do not say “f” for “th” but, as in all accents poorly spoken, many do. Literally every accent in the country you would encounter people doing that. It’s a bad habit and done by people who don’t speak properly. Usually poorly educated and from lower socioeconomic economic groups - that help?

If I remove the patronising and condescending tone I suppose it does help.

There is no such thing as a general regional accent. (Not sure why there were any complaints about the accents then.) Stupid poor people say "f" for "th". Got it.

I must go away and learn the meaning of the word 'tend' as I didn't realise it meant every single person.

When you look back & piece it together, it’s a little predictable, isn’t it?

I didn't think the casting of young Marcus, David and Anna was good, nor adult Anna. The rest were superb. Got a girl crush on adult Kika

I felt like it got more interesting as it went on, but it was really bonkers and weird.They did explain most of the stuff I didn't get by the end.

I have no idea about the accents.

I'm not sure if I'd watch a second series if they made one. Maybe just for Boxer...

I am hoping that they don't do a second series. I would have liked it to just end. But I will watch it if there is another one!!!

I felt that the way it ended gave the idea a second series would be about Marcus. Don't think idea be too interested. Probably end up a typical drug gang series.

Now one about Boxer, I could get onboard with that. Could be about anything - I'm shallow ...

I thought it was enjoyable crap! I loved the scenery and Boxer of course.

Although far too many sex scenes!

I came on here looking to see if anyone had posted about White lines and to see if anyone shared my (obsessive) crush on Boxer? How hot was he, I think I’m a little bit obsessed

I enjoyed it though, not the greatest story but I enjoyed the music, beaches and Boxer.......
Not sure I’d want to watch another series about Marcus and drug dealing though.

There's a lot of love for Boxer but what about Axel? Am I alone? He has a look (a bit David Bowie and Sting from way back when) and he is by far the best actor in the series which ups the appeal.... (he's just a bit too young though).

Can see him going far as an actor.

OMFG Boxer!

Hilarious moments, like the white lines in the garden and the car ride in forest. Pretty silly but a good distraction.

Still watching this. Some of the writing is awful, but there's enough action to keep me interested and Ibiza looks so beautiful and hot (but not as beautiful and hot as Boxer)

Really enjoyed white lines, was a crazy mix of some unbelievable sub plots, a bit of cringe dialogue but also a few moments of decent acting and great characters.
Zoe was crazy by the end. Assume she blew it with Boxer but he's welcome around mine anytime!
It was dark, funny, daft and partly credible.
Kind of hope they dont do another series.
For people who enjoyed this I'd also recommend Queen of the South, Netflix.

Very entertaining! Boxer was unbelievably hot - a sort of sensitive intellectual thug! Axel was a total dick (and his eyes were so far apart he looked like a frog!

I loved White Lines!
Couldn't stand Axel. An annoying and too full of himself wee gobshite. One thing I did like though, was that nobody was cast in a perfect light. The characters were far from one dimensional.
Loved the Calafat family dynamics. Thought Conchita and Kika were fab!
Loved Boxer, of course ....
