Maybe now with fewer episodes and time on their hands the writing will improve with some decent story lines.

I think this might be worse than the Sam and Lydia episode. There’s a reason they always have jimmy in short scenes with others. He is dire. Nicola looks lovely though. Far prettier than normal.

Ooh I wonder what she's going to do.

Jimmy's life would be very different without Nicola. He would have to look after his children all by himself for starters.

Nicola's hair suits her that length.

What business could Nicola want? Is there one we know of that’s struggling?

How on earth does Paddy put up with Chas? And how is Lucy not permanently drained from playing her? She just moans incessantly.

She is tiresome isn’t she? I love chas but she’d be depressing to live with.

She can be really likeable. It's just so rare! She's always full of self pity and she's so hard on Paddy.

I don't find her likeable at all. She treats Aaron like a five year old which does my head in. Lucy is a brilliant actress though. I bawled my eyes out when Grace died, and she was amazing in the live episode.

I don’t want them to break up. She’ll not get as good a man as paddy again. I find him really irritating but he loves her to bits and is always going to be there for her and eve.

One of my favourite scenes is Chas singing Total Eclipse of the Heart. So funny.

Oh yes excelled she might have got them to do it after she had Eve.

I have tolerated these episodes so far, but recorded the last 2 and didn't even bother finishing them - just so, so dull and boring.

I think I will give Wednesday's one a miss.

We need to get back to normal and some decent Cain/Moira scenes very soon.

I loved that episode even though I have to keep reminding myself that it's Ellis!
