Maybe now with fewer episodes and time on their hands the writing will improve with some decent story lines.

Why do they do it all in one episode? Why do soaps insist on cramming these great ideas they have all into the time frame of a fart instead of letting stories develop and flow naturally and letting the audience focus on each one individually rather than jump between all three to the point we’re bored! Soap writers are so stupid.

Why are there horses in Moira’s field? She has cows.

I’ve literally not watched in weeks and weeks, last episode I saw was when Nate’s mum appeared begging him not to plead guilty to splatting Moira.

Dawn Harrison tried to write some sense into why Moira cheated but the whole story is still nonsensical to me. I hope they stay together this time!

She's just had 20 week scan. I mentioned earlier in the year that I thought Lydia could be pregnant when she had all those symptoms. They would have to use a doll though and push an empty pram around until we get out of this Covid shitshow!

Radio 4 were discussing an upcoming Emmerdale line, I honestly don't know who thinks of these storylines. I don't know why but I get so frustrated that the writers don't listen to their audience

Does anyone think Mackenzie is out to double-cross Jamie after he found out about the hit and run? I feel like he purposely locked Cain and Moira in so they would have to talk because he turned up to open the door at the exact moment they finished!

Gawd Liam and Gabby. Not that soap old chestnut again: when something can be simply explained by one character opening their gob, then it's the rule to have another character tell them repeatedly not to speak.

Emmerdale only won one award at the Inside Soap Awards yesterday. The Dingles won best soap family. They're voted by the public so I hope this might give them the feedback they won't take on board from social media about their current storylines.
