He is being outsmarted by virtually everyone at present. Malone, Jamie and now Mackenzie.

Just not feasible at all unless he is suffering from early onset dementia.

He used to be a great character- a loner, love to hate him, riled everyone up, didn’t care what anyone thought of him, quite scary, arrogant.

They’ve turned him into a mix between Dan and Will. He’s wet and characterless.

I haven't watched for a week now, it's still recording as I have it on series link but I've not been tempted to watch and can't see I'm missing anything. Frankly it sounds like they've cut Cains balls off if he's being so wet, and I can't stand to see that. He's the bad boy of the village, doesn't deserve to be robbed of that by crappy writers.
I'm following this thread to check nothing amazing is happening!
I might watch the Xmas special, if all the shit comes to an end!
