Guys so sorry - predictive text and fat fingers, apologies ! I meant to write Maureen has only ever really played one role wearing one wig all her life. They should have spent time building her character rather than forcing her on us and working her into almost every scene in the rovers/shop/roys/street. Her entry story was ridiculous.

She's no Blanche so stop trying to make her into a poor copy.

I like Evelyn.

I can't agree she has only ever played one role, she's a very talented actress who has done many varied roles, particularly on stage, but I'm not keen on Evelyn as a character. That's really the fault of the writers, though.

I agree that the way she was introduced was yet another really bonkers idea. But I will forgive that because I like her dog, and she usually remembers that he exists. Unlike the parents who forget they have children for months on end.

I hated Evelyn at first, her entry story didn't help but she has grown on me over time.

Yes, Maria had a black labrador called Ozzie bought for her by Liam's father (forgotten his name). I seem to recall the dog having to be put to sleep a couple of years ago.

Wasn’t his name Liam too?

I think they're trying to make him increasingly hateful with each episode now, the chocolate thing and calling her a diseased tart. I think it was a bit more believable when he occasionally showed another side, but he's now become a repulsive monster. Interesting to see what happens next.

Just when I thought he couldn't be any more monstrous, he spits out a praline. Who doesn't like praline??

This will sound silly but I really felt for Yasmeen when she was stood by the side of the sofa and Geoff ordered her upstairs to clean. She stood like she had the world on her shoulders, stooped forward, doesn’t know what to do or who to turn to, it really got to me.

Urgh! Geoff makes my skin crawl. The names and words he is using towards Yasmeen. Vile vile piece of pond scum he is. And the way he was manspreading over the sofa and squishing her into the end of the sofa. Urgh. I want to boil him in a giant pot of his own disgusting infected semen.

I hope she speaks out, seeks legal advice, calls women's aid or does the Freedom program. Something with a bit of reality too it. As it's Corrie tho, he'll likely end up as patio foundation..

They certainly have increased the horror of Yasmeen's situation now. I couldn't help but think tonight's episode wasn't really suitable for broadcasting at 7:30 in the evening; I was glad I didn't have children around.

Yasmeen totally missed Dr Gadass's bemusement when she referred to Geoff's heart condition, didn't she?

I cannot describe the hate I have for Geoff. The way he speaks to yasmeen. The way he blames her so badly. Obviously that means he plays his character well.
I think asha is quite a good actress too. Playing a big role well for her age

She did optimist which makes me think it must mean Dr G is going to approach Geoff to discuss yasmeens confusion about it. Or she’ll do something at least- maybe not speak to Geoff.

I really want to see Yasmeen say “no, I’m not taking it anymore- you’re clearly lying to me. I haven’t cheated, sharif didn’t give me chlamydia, i have gotten it from you.
