I think David's story line of him being reckless is ridiculous. How many more times is he going to fail those children of his? I like the character but wish they would allow him a happy story line, he is good dad and I don't believe he would risk them going through more grief and pain like that.
Was also really annoyed (irrationally) to see Simon, I hate that kid (irrationally) 😀

Agree about David. I love David’s character. They need to stop making him a tortured soul and just let him be happy running his barber shop.

David is lovely. Or at least he can be. He switches from lovely involved dad to reckless waste of space every week.

If its mitichondrial does that mean it has to have come from Leannes side? Only because she was so quick to point out that her family don't have any genetic illnesses (and I dont like her). I like Steve. When he isnt pulling weird faces. Fuck knows why him and Tracey are together.

If plastic Liz got that distraught telling some teens that Oliver (who they generally never mention) is poorly, I hope she never has to tell them anything worse. Surely "unfortunately Oliver is very poorly at the moment and the drs don't know what's wrong with him. But let's stay positive,. Hes in the best place" would suffice?
I had to tell my DC that their cousins were dead. That was bloody hard. And nothing in comparison to telling children that a sibling or parent has died I'm sure.

The builder family need to go, actually scrap that, the eldest son has potential, and Agi was good in doctors so I will extend her probationary period, the gay son is so wooden it’s cringe to watch and the dads booming voice and bad acting are awful, it just goes to show how uninterested I am, I can’t even remember their names. As for Nina she can’t act either but the character has potential, though I do worry she is going to go up in flames any minute behind the cafe counter, all that fabric and naked flames don’t mix.

And Lloyd overheard him. He then got labelled a racist and life on the street got so bad he had to leave. I remember it because I've heard the expression a few times in real life.

When big Jim and the fake wee girl turned up he had a walking stick so he did. Did he have a genetic condition or was that made up, or did I imagine that episode? Also was there any reason why baby Ruari didn't survive?

I liked the family dynamic between Stella, Leanne, Eva, Toyah and whatever Stella’s mum was called. Wish they would return to the show.

Aye he did indeedeggandonion so he did, said he had some condition that was hereditary and Steve had to get tested, I think Amy did too, I thought that would have been mentioned in regards to Oliver, although maybe it was a couple of years ago, I was thinking about the fake daughter story the other day and how awful it was.

When are they getting back to Yasmeen and Geoff, I hope we don't have to wait until normality resumes.

Steve did mention his dad's condition and the fact he didn't have it. The nurse said it was unlikely.

I used to like that about Jim too, eggandonion. It was always Steven, Andrew and Eluzabeth. I also used to love it when Steve and Andy did his accent.
