I am hoping someone finds that video that Geoff took ages ago on his phone - the one where he blamed Yasmeen of ruining his act. She was terrified and huddled in a corner, sheer terror on her face.
Funny how one picture/video says more than a million words.

Perhaps the secret camera would have picked up his awful behaviour and that will show the truth?

Those were my thoughts @scaryreading - does it record or just play in real time?

If it records then maybe he'll be hoist by his own petard.

I think it records because there have been times he has sat on the sofa watching the laptop showing yasmeens activities from earlier in the day. And the time he sat watching Aliyah and Ryan on it when he just got back from Las Vegas.

I wonder if the secret camera will play a part in a court case? Have to assume there will be a court case? We might not see it on screen but it'll be talked about at least.

Oh gosh my heart was pounding at the end there! I just don't want poor yasmeen to end up in prison now (although is anyone there at the moment, suppose they're overdue an imprisonment).

The camera has to play some part. I don’t think they would have it in the plot just so he could spy on her.

I’m thinking he will survive, tell the police Yasmeen found out about the escorts due to the chlamydia diagnosis and attacked him. He can back all this up with GP evidence and his emails to escorts etc.

Jesus that was a tough watch, I hope it doesn't lead to months of police investigation and Yasmeen being in prison, it will kind of make a mockery of the whole domestic abuse situation if she gets sent to prison.

Peter and Sally finally began to look concerned for her but it's too late.

Yeah I wondered that. That was a decidedly dodgy thing for him to do- especially with her pleading from the other side of the door. Tbh I expected Eileen to go over and speak to Yasmeen once he’d walked away.

No one has suspected anything was going on and she’ll have no proof at all.
They all said themselves in the pub that she rules the roost and has him wrapped around her little finger. That’s what they think.
The actors have both played it brilliantly, I spent the whole episode fuming and disgusted with him! Even my teens said I looked angry when they came in the room!

The only thing in yasmeens favour is she made the call to the police regarding Claire’s law and they will have a record of that. The two officers who met her will be able to speak to how her demeanour was, how nervous and worried she seemed. How worried Aaliyah was about her grandmother.

I wonder if this will go on... and she will find the cameras. I hope so. If he gets over this injury, he will be even worse

It was a bit strange. One minute she was looking weirdly on as Geoff locked Yaz in the house. The next minute she was in the pub playing it down. Then the camera went to Geoff turning round after locking the door with them both inside.

I agree with you @ellenanora5 I really hope they don't do a lengthy police investigation with Yasmine going to prison, I think they have a duty to people watching at home in similar situations.

I thought the whole episode tonight didnt seem to 'flow' properly, you don't usually see characters walking out of the house then see them immediately in the cafe/pub etc. like we did with Geoff and Yasmeen tonight.

I wonder whether it was initially going to be shown over 2 x 30 min episodes in one night with other scenes in between, but they decided to put this storyline into one episode so it didn't lose momentum with them only showing 3 a week at the minute. E.g. when they showed Geoff saying his shirt needed ironing then immediately cut back to Yasmeen giving him his shirt.

It was supposed to be jumpy like that to put the viewers on edge and make them feel like Yasmeen. It was very well done in my opinion. The short snappy, jumpy scenes and the lighting etc all created the tension and set the tone.

Hope we are not going to see everyone now turn against Yasmeen, and think Geoff is the victim.

I don't know why I always do this at nine scary things but I can't sleep after watching it,
Only caught up around half an hour ago on tonight's episode,
I've just got in bed DP is asleep and I've had to put the lamp on! I'm such a wuss 🙈

Honestly though I felt like I was her! I've been through EA but no where near as bad as Yasmeen, I can completely understand the storyline of why she feels like she can't leave and I hope he's not dead and gets real comeuppance, I just want her friends and family know exactly what he's like!

@Honeyroar Geoff returned from the chippy bought fish and chips.
When he was mocking her he was throwing chips from the table at Yasmeen.
