Anyway- that scene was really shit I thought. They could’ve done that far better.

I didn’t like that episode. It was too OTT and didn’t need all the special effects and I got bored of sobbing Yasmeen. But I hope he’s dead. Am annoyed I saw a trailer hinting at this on Sunday so I’ve expected it all week.

One thing annoying me in this plot line is that nobody has made much effort to check her, other than Aaliyah. And I don’t think they’d all be slagging her off in the pub. She clearly wasn’t herself. You’d be worried. She really looked ill.

@ChandlerIsTheBestFriend - give it a rest will you. They've been advertising it all week showing Yasmeen phoning 999 saying "I've killed my husband". Doesn't mean she did/was going to. It was a teaser, not a spoiler.
We don't know if he's dead - I didn't write the script. However I hope to hell he's at least seriously injured enough to never have the ability to abuse Yasmeen again

Its a Friday episode too, they like pulling bait and switch on Fridays, expect he'll be having hotpot in the rovers with Tim by Wednesday.

I think he will be dead but I don't want him to be dead I feel like I need to see the psychological aspect behind him being so ridiculously over the top because where would it have lead.

I feel like he never knows how bad his behaviour is and I need him, wanted him to admit how awful he is to a friend or somebody I just don't understand it he knows he's controlling but I feel this episode was just ridiculous.

Anyone who turned up wearing a 'sexy' dress that didn't fit because she was too thin and was jumpy like that, and who looked tortured like she did... I'd like to think I wouldn't start slagging her off when she was dragged out of a pub

Totally. You’d be worried because it’s so out of character for her. You’d instantly recognise she wasn’t herself.

On the one hand I hope he is dead because he won’t be able to torture her again but then she’ll be facing a murder charge and have to prove everything he was doing to her- some of which she won’t even realise or be able to label.

On the other hand I don’t want him to get off that easy- I want it all to be uncovered and him face the consequences. But how likely is it she’ll be believed? And he’ll get to press charges against her and spread a load of lies.

@unique1986 People like him always need a target to use as a human dustbin to offload all their own rage and inadequacies. Deep down they hate themselves.
I don't want him to be dead. I want him to suffer. I want the truth to come out and be believed and for everyone to show how much they despise him.
I'm interested in how the writers will show Yasmeen's reactions over the next few weeks. In reality someone who has suffered such extreme psychological abuse will find it impossible to think coherently for a very long time, let alone finds the words to express.
