We have been discussing Our Girl from the first series back in 2014 and are now on thread 55!

Oh look who is back in town? Looks like that air attack wasn't as successful as they thought.

The ladies go shopping and nattering.

Gosh - she's even quoting Elvis!

Jason is at Manchester Picadilly and Georgie is down by the canal (I know where that is now!) and Elvis is cut off by Georgie, but she can't help quoting him - he just seeps into her brain. Is all well in the world?

Above her menace lurks on the train which passes overhead.

Abu reappears through Customs and then we see him in Manchester.

Georgie is on her way to meet Jamie and Elvis rings.

Now we see Abu on a tram.

Great episode, this and the previous one are two of my favourites. Though I have to admit I like Elvis dressed in his counter-intelligence get up in episode four.

Oh yes, ilove, very fetching in black, I must say. And there are some very nice other scenes with him in ep 4 - and in ep 5. Basically, just edit out Jamie ...

Hi everyone have had wifi problems so just caught up with your last 2 watchalongs. Realise how much I enjoyed this series and indeed as RHU pointed out it really was the last time we saw CJ as we know him. All went to pot after that.
Also the more I see of Elvis the more I think it was all wrong to kill him off. We surely could have had knowledge of him away on his SF missions and skipping Georgie etc. We certainly had enough contact that way with Jamie in this series!!
Looks like a new thread needed soon too. Great we can keep it going.

Auto correct doesn't like me adding "ing" on the end of skype so we get skipping instead.

Great suggestions too Rhu for new title. Wouldn't know which to choose but certainly think something with staying alert and focussed would be very current. Look forward to seeing what you decide on.

Yes eejit, that's my favourite too. Shall we go with that? It's almost topical at the moment, given Boris's current catchphrase. Mind you, I hope nobody thinks it's a coronavirus thread! (There are too many of those around at the moment).

Not sure if it should use the "stay alive" bit. Might seem a bit insensitive - don't want to invite any offence. Just a thought.

Perhaps we could paraphrase it and say "Stay Obsessed" or something similar.

Yep, just seen the recap. Now Georgie is swimming in the pool and...arghh!! no it's not jaws it's Abu. And she wakes up in a sweaty nightmare with Dr Dull. Now that's a reall nightmare. There he is again without his shirt.

Do we reckon that phone call was really Elvis?

Yes, I wouldn't be too happy waking up to Mr Control Freak Jamie.
