We have been discussing Our Girl from the first series back in 2014 and are now on thread 55!

Oh, goodness that is so unsubtle. She must feel so uncomfortable. What an awkward moment.

She is very handy there with Charles - not really appropriate is it.

So what else can a man do but get all but legless.

Yes Rhu, it's no wonder she decides to leave them to it and goes to her room.

She can't settle - bad conscience?

Gosh it's blowing a gale outside. Why does she tie up her laces? Where is she going?

Ah, there he is, drunk, emotional and tearful. I know some people think he is self-pitying but you do have to feel a bit sorry for him.

Georgie tosses and turns and decides to go out onto her balcony and what a surprise, there's Elvis, all ready to explain all as to why he didn't turn up to their wedding. Laura, the tattoo on his arm, turns out to be his baby and Debbie, who Elvis ditched for Georgie, showed up on the wedding day.

He's in agony with his ribs now. Mind you, her timing was brilliant to tell you on the day of your wedding, no malice there at all!

"I was going to say Lost" that makes me giggle a bit when he says that.

YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD HER -YOU NUMPTY!!

Will she take pity on him?.....of course she does.

Does no-one else admire him for facing up to his responsibilities to the child he fathered?

This is sweet. How could you not....

It was inevitable what would happen when she went into his room. Not that I can blame her!

And the waters meet...so poetically!

I remember an ex-boyfriend did his ribs - there is no way Elvis and Georgie could snog without yelps of pain from him ...

Meanwhile back in Manchester it reminds me of VE day a few weeks ago.

The Lane family plus Jamie prepare for Georgie's return.

Here they are arriving back at Brize Norton. I love Fingers' cheek in scrounging a lift back to Manchester.

CJ seems genuinely concerned for her. He wants her back on tour if she's fit and able in five weeks for Syria. (Would there really be so short an interval between tours?)

Lucky Molly or is she still in Afghan?

Fingers thumbs a lift with Georgie. CJ is concerned for her, a tad too concerned I think. Perhaps he feels very guilty.

I do like this CJ - the one that is happy with Molly and properly in control. When you see this it's easy to see that he wasn't right in the next series at all. There is a big difference.

There's Jamie with his moobs to welcome his beloved. And here is lovely Fingers meeting Marie. Ah....

The family reunion! Yuk ... and Jamie's man boobs.

Fingers gets invited in for a cup of tea and Marie carries his helmet! How weird is that!

Yucky alert here! Jamie a bit too..er...keen.

Somehow I can never take Jamie seriously as a medic. He is SO unlike any medics I know ...

Jamie and Georgie also reunite! Not sure of Jamie's apology - too much information methinks.
