We have been discussing Our Girl from the first series back in 2014 and are now on thread 55!

Just doing the recap from episode 1.

Back at the abandoned ambulance...here come the troops. Has anyone got eyes on Lane? Well, Elvis, Jamie, Milan, CJ and The Prof in the end!

Georgie is carried off in a cloud of dust by the terrorists.

I know we've said this before but I am sure this is nowhere near as gruesome as would happen with a hostage.

Georgie is a hostage. Scary moments.

Good grief, yes that's a fair number of eyes on!! Haha.

Mansfield makes a swift exit from the series. CJ seems really rattled and breathless.

Ooh I forgot to add Brains and Bones to that list....

Blimey and Dr Antonio! How could I forget Dr Dishy.

Meanwhile, Georgie is being forced to treat the sick terrorist. That looks so grim. Don't forget - she's here to...er...help

It makes me cringe thinking how they treat her. Imagine being chained up like that.

Here comes the MERT to carry Mansfield away.

Mansfield is a medevac. Poor Georgie getting some really rough treatment and she starts to panic because she can't breathe.

Funny how she ends up treating the other side ...

If I've watched this on my own, I've usually skipped over this bit as it gives me the shivers.

She starts to make a little connection to the masked guard. She knows she needs to get him onside somehow.

Phew! Thought that was a different chopper.
...like in Nigeria...

Sorry folks - watching this on iPad which is on go slow as the tv iPlayer isn’t playing.

So, they have plans for Georgie to get them attention. In she goes like a sack of potatoes as they drive her off. CJ has been on the line to London. The cavalry are arriving soon.

Meanwhile, back at the camp....

I hate the way CJ says "escilated" rather than "escalated".

That bloke Jason/Abu really irritates me when he speaks. Such a two-faced little weasel.

Georgie discovers that they also have Kiki.
