We have been discussing Our Girl from the first series back in 2014 and are now on thread 55!

Georgie changes into scrubs.

Kiki was in the house but she's been moved. So Georgie needs to go in the ambulance.

"Strike one" Fingers - cheeking the boss about Molly...yes he likes a medic all right.

Very convenient that Georgie has a set of blue scrubs on her!

Why does Georgie take off her uniform and put on scrubs? No reason.

Whoops Captain Von Trapp wants seven children.

The patient has crashed at that thought.

In the midst of it, she gets a text from Jamie!

The ambulance speeds away and the lorry accompanying is waylaid. Now the ambulance is ambushed and Mansfield has been shot. Goergie hides her dog tags.

Georgie is kidnapped by the Al Shabaab. This was a really tense few scenes the first time we watched it.

Georgie has enough sense to hide her dog tags.... well she has enough sense this time, then goes and buries them next to the entrance where she is imprisoned in the next episode!

She resists, but it's no good. Help is not at hand. Where are Two Section when you need them. The first of a lot of mishaps for our Georgie.

She hides her dog tags. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.....who will save her???

I enjoyed that. It's a good while since I watched it. Usually if I'm bingeing on OG2, it's episodes 2 and 3 I concentrate on.

That was fun. I do like series 2. I know we were iffy about it when it first started, but when I compare it with Belize and Bangladesh, it's great.

Oh eejit, don't be so coy! Hahahaha.

My very favourite scene in the next episode? It's "The boys are back in town" as Elvis and the team get out of the helicopter. What's yours eejit?

I was just considering my favourite episodes of all the series.

Episodes 2 & 3 of this series are up there with all of series 1 for me. After that, it gets more difficult to decide. I'd probably pick the last series ahead of most of the one before even though it contained CJ.

As for my favourite scene of the next episode, I think I'm torn between "The boys", "Showergate" and the last scene when Georgie is winched up and finds out who has rescued her. Actually, I think it's possibly one of the best episodes of any series.

rhu - same here. And much as I like ep 3, the rubbish editing is a shame.

Don't know if any of you have seen it but there is a really nice picture of Molly and CJ on Instagram posted on the Ourgirl army site. It is obviously a scene that was shot for use in series 1 and was dropped. It is set where he is in the grounds of the rehab centre and Molly is visiting. She is dressed in her army uniform and has a fully packed Bergen. He is in casual clothes with crutches lying beside the bench and his leg splayed out with the boot on the right leg.

I just tried to sort out where in the context of the last episode this would have fitted in. For me it would have been after the restaurant scene and maybe just before she left for that 3 month Afghan trip where she sorted out her worries over Bashira. It did make me think that maybe a 6th episode was actually intended and this would have made a reasonable start for it as they said goodbye before she left for Afghan, and then see them communicating while she was there and arriving back at his front door with "Missed Me" comment. Wouldn't that have been better than that hurried little scene after the credits.😌
