We have been discussing Our Girl from the first series back in 2014 and are now on thread 55!

I think Mimi acts her sicks off here- at least the actress does.

Dr Antonio is in charge and is moving everyone out of harm's way. He is also in charge of the gun. Bang! Poya dies instantly. Mimi is distraught.

Well Rhu how do you think Dr Sadie would have reacted in these circumstances?

It's all going wrong for Poya - he does want to save Mimi, he must like her. She confesses the truth about her situation and her upbringing. She grew up without parents and a failed adoption.

Dr Dishy is on the way to rescue the situation in his own way. She's going to talk him out of it and she almost succeeds.

Then Dr Dishy does a very un doctor like thing and shoots Poya dead. Mimi is distraught.

Lt Hurst comes into his own at the barracks and takes charge when the Brig is just being a ridiculous, pompous, patronising pratt! (And I have a feeling I said something similar last week).

Dr Sadie? Well ...

Dr Sadie would have done a funny grin and nod of the head and probably invited Poya out, to make him feel better. She wouldn't have wanted to get her white coat grubby.

Meanwhile back at the parade - all hell breaks loose and Omar escapes and shoots his comrade dead.....swine!

Dr Dishy seeks Mimi out to chat to her. He congratulates her, but she blames him and says he killed him unnecessarily. I think it bothers him a bit. He may have been a bit gung ho, but he couldn't see it from the same angle as Mimi. He did what he thought he had to do.

It's hardly Hurst's fault that the Brig's plan for sucking up to the American bigwig didn't work out!

Duty of care quoted yet again, such an excuse for doing anything daft.

Georgie has a problem with trust - that was the problem with Elvis, as you will recall.

So they drive off in the armoured vehicle with Omar, not knowing it's him.

Dr Bahil now blames Dr Dishy for being a soldier rather than a doctor first. I think it's all a bit rich to blame him for reporting stuff he sees. No one blamed Molly for reporting intel she got from little Bashira when treating her, did they. I don't think it's fair for anyone of them to blame Dr Dishy.

I do like this conversation between Monk and Throbber until Cheese arrives. That man has very violent tendencies.

Throbber confesses that it was Cheese who beat up the old Afgham man.

Here comes our favourite airhead...yes it's Cheese. Now Throbber confesses how out of control Cheese is and not to be trusted.

Another reason not to blame Dr Dishy, he gets through to Georgie and tells her a vital bit of intel, so that she realises who is with her in the back of the vehicle with her. Sherlock has nothing on our Georgie.

So they are back at the concrete works where Elvis died and Georgie has come full circle. She is going to see this through.

Omar tries to pretend he knows nothing.....swine!

See that building - it was in the middle of a market last time around.

Rabee/Omar legs it with Georgie in hot pursuit. Throbber following on after her. Kingy, Monk et al are now there for backup.

Here come the cavalry to save the day, but Georgie has lost her gun again...not the firs time.

Nevertheless she is gonna hunt that man down....wherever he is...I feel my inner Liam Neeson coming on....

Go on girl....get that evil so and so!

Omar shoots Prof. Georgie rushes to his aid then holds a gun to Omar's head. Flashback to Elvis being blown up then and some gorgeous shots of Elvis at the barracks when Georgie was wearing the engagement ring.

Good old Prof has taken a bullet for Georgie and she's got a shot at Omar. She's got to make a choice, give in to her feelings or be the bigger person and make him face justice. Go on sock it too him....

Antonio doesn't give up on Georgie and wants to meet up when he comes to London on a course. He's going back to New York.

Just realised, Prof is a worthy successor to Elvis - he rescues her.
