I hadn't twigged that Bernie wasn't about.

I think they will have had a "bubble" of actors working then another bubble so we might not see Raine and Stuart etc after these storylines

I didn't understand the moveable partitions - if you can't see them on screen, how could I see them on the video about how they were using them 😂🤣

Does anyone else think the scenes in the bathroom with Chantelle in the bath would probably have had Gray forcing her head under the water and they’ve adapted it for social distancing?

I think that would have been far too dark for eastenders. I think it was showing his control over her.

I agree. Especially when he clicked his fingers to indicate the 2 minutes was up. Obviously not the first time she's had to do that!

Apparently they edit the perspex screens out after filming.

But it explains why it looked like Ruby and Martin were walking too far apart when they were supposed to be together iyswim!

I’d really like to see how they film using screens too please?
I think I’m more interested in their houses, the filming, the mystery of ever multiplying bedrooms and so on than the storylines!

If you don't like spoilers, I would suggest that you don't google to try to find out about the filming. It's difficult to avoid all the spoilers all over the place! I've stumbled across several biggies in the last week or so.

They have similar screens on wheels that they use when people are walking along too. It's really very clever - I love the way they've managed to adapt.

Apparently they got the return to filming model from Neighbours not that I watch Neighbours but read they went back to work in May .

Looking at that photo makes me wonder if someone like Dotty - a rebel, streetwise, cynical would really have any time at all for someone like Bobby who is more Denny’s age really. What happened with Bobby’s conversion to religion? That story didn’t really go anywhere.
And WHY is she using the name Dotty? Her name is Kirsty, she only used that temporarily to scam Dot. When she went back after that scam to live with her mother or Nick, they surely resumed using her actual name???

Not only have we not seen a mask but none of them were wearing one in the hospital for Bens hearing thingy. I went to a big hospital for a blood test and they were giving them out at the door if you didn’t have one and certainly not encouraging 3 people to accompany an adult to his appointment.
Not sure that we’ve had any scenes on the shop yet but if we have there were no masks

It looks like they have decided not to do masks at all. Agree about new family, can’t work out how old they all supposed to be. Maybe because dad seems to be in prison and bad un that they are huge difference in the kids. The one in suits and doctor must be 30 odd but the younger do act like teenagers.

These episodes were filmed before the mask law happened.

I don't think masks are necessary in a soap. I think they've hit the right level of acknowledging Covid.
