I've just watched tonight's. I really have no idea whats going on with Ruby/the club/Martin etc. I feel totally baffled.

The club is making no money so the DJ (Vinnie?) offered for burn it down for Ruby. I'm not sure if he actually did this or was just trying to when Martin saw him and chased him into the Minute Mart (via a hitherto unseen back door in an alley I think). Vinnie smashed him over the head with something heavy and knocked him out.

I don’t know a lot about fraud but surely after several wrong things the bank would cancel any cards and send you a new number so anyone with old information can’t use it?

I thought an electrical “fault” would burn down the club and pay out. Though surely the damage would cost same as what they paid out. Unless he blew up the safe surely it would be her fault for having a safe that’s easy to crack??

Yes, but she'd have the money and not the money pit that is the club - she presumably wouldn't re-build it.

Seemed a rather snap decision though:
"Hey, the club is struggling"
"I could burn it down for you"

And yes, the bank wojld have cancelled the cards as soon as there was a complaint. My credit card company did when my card was cloned.

Plus thinking about it. Surely you tell your mate the safe is full and tell the insurance company yes it had £50k in. Which they pay out and then you have the £50k under your bed as bonus. If he’s only stealing £50k tans in the safe and they pay it back..: what have they actually gained???

If the club was closed, why would Ruby have so much cash in the safe? And everywhere is looking for contactless payment not cash. Though as half the square work for cash, I suppose that can’t happen in EE.

So True about Karen. She is a tough cookie and been let down by many men in the past. If her own daughter can't tell her what's been going on with vile Gray , there is a big problem there with their relationship. Karen would help her I'm sure , so why the reluctance to tell her anything? Or even Mitch who is a hard nut?

Do insurance companies pay out for stolen safe cash contents? I guess there is a limit to the amount of the claim but it still seems a bit nuts. Unless the safe robbery was just a decoy to make the arson look like a robbery gone wrong as Ruby has cameras everywhere?

The taylor brothers have the same disability as the actors in real life they were probably not allowed on set because of their vulnerability so that is why whey were at their dads.@Alongcameacat I have had to ff chantelle and gray I can't stand it it's too much.

Yes I thought the actors who play the boys might found all mask and SD much harder than other child actors so easier for them to go live with their Dad.

Oh I did t know that Mrsjayy, I thought they had taken all the children off set but then Chantelle’s were there but they are part of a big storyline. Janet won’t be back then either. I suppose they will just say some of them are gone long term and others are napping/at school/upstairs (like they did with Tracey for YEARS in Corrie).
