Have been trying to watch the JCS with Tim Minchin on The Show Must Go On YouTube channel, but can’t see the full video.
Has anybody managed to watch it?
Thanks in advance.

The show must go on videos on youtube are only available for 48 hours. Jesus christ superstar finished at 7PM last night.

Familyband · 13/04/2020 10:23

I think you might be too late. I think they're only streaming for 48 hours from Friday nights. There should be another one next weekend, but don't think they've announced what it will be yet.

doodleygirl · 13/04/2020 10:23

I think it’s only available from the initial Friday screening for 48 hours

Furrybootsyecomfy · 13/04/2020 10:25

Thanks @Pinkflipflop85 and @Chasingsquirrels - I started looking too late in the first place. Back to dancing round the kitchen to the original for me then.

Sorry, I just posted the link from my YouTube account having watched it on Friday. Didn't realise it was only 48 hours and that link is now a promo.

billybagpuss · 13/04/2020 10:30

Does anyone know which one might be next?

WhisperingJesse · 13/04/2020 11:18

I sat down to watch it at 8.30pm last night. I was very disappointed!

isthismylifenow · 13/04/2020 11:19

I'm hoping it's s Cats next week

Northumberlandlass · 13/04/2020 11:21

They are released at 7pm on a Friday evening and available for 48 hours. The channel is called ‘Shows Must Go On’.
JC was immense!

Jodri · 14/04/2020 08:32

Tim Minchin was amazing as Judas!
He’s a man of many talents, a blooming legend!

Northumberlandlass · 14/04/2020 11:51

I saw him on tour in November last year. It was one of the best things I have ever seen!

Pinkflipflop85 · 14/04/2020 20:10

The 25th anniversary phantom of the opera is next

scaryreading · 14/04/2020 20:13

Loved this show and this version.

buckeejit · 14/04/2020 21:24

Aww I didn't know it was TM in it. Dammit! Dh wasn't keen & now I'm gutted as planned to do it later on my own. It's because the National theatre's carry on regardless. One man, 2 guvnors is great but wasn't dying about Jane Eyre

Furrybootsyecomfy · 15/04/2020 20:44

I went to see NTs Jane Eyre in Edinburgh and thought it was fabulous, but wish I’d known about the length- 3 hours in a teeny rock hard theatre seat wasn’t fun.

buckeejit · 15/04/2020 21:42

I thought Jane Eyre
Was very well done but still didn't enjoy it. Definitely too long. We both fell asleep & I woke & fast forwarded 10 mins when there was 20 to go as I just wanted it to be over

scaryreading · 18/04/2020 19:46

Loved Phantom

RevealTheHiddenBeach · 18/04/2020 19:48

Loved phantom. I'm really hoping they show whistle down the wind as that's my absolute favourite but it will probably be bloody cats.

Elieza · 18/04/2020 20:08

Tim minchin is great in JCS.
Sooo hot Grin

Pinkflipflop85 · 18/04/2020 21:17

Yes, it probably will be bloody cats. So far they've all been shows that have already had dvd/tv release.

2Rebecca · 18/04/2020 23:25

These have been excellent so far. Loved that version of Phantom but it makes me cry whoever is in it. A few relatives caught out by that one just being 24 hours

RedRed9 · 18/04/2020 23:26

Gutted that I missed JCS!

KatyMac · 18/04/2020 23:29

I'd like to re-see the JCS Live that they did - DD & I loved that

Noodlenosefraggle · 18/04/2020 23:32

I just watched Phantom. It was phenomenal. I wish I'd bothered to watch these others now. I was so emotional I gave them £20 so I may not be able to afford it every week Grin
