I never before realised the importance of a studio audience. This just feels weird and not funny. They need to be together to play off each other.

I think they are doing well in difficult circs. Still enjoying it but looking forward to it going back to normal!

It's not working great... .on the other hand I'm still rolling at the elderly chap throwing 50p at the till operator and legging it.

I appreciate the effort and now they're getting into the swing of it as the episode goes on it's getting better. Plus the being nosy about people's houses is still appealing to me somewhat - I love that Hislop has a really untidy bookshelf in the background!

Part of me is still disappointed Miles Jupp doesn't, in fact, live in a bright pink house.

Watched at home with Steph on Ch4 at lunch ... Well the last 15mins, felt sorry for her as its not what she intended when she went to 4 and it was a bit boring!

I frigging love Steph McGovern anyway. I'm just glad they're trying to do it and not just replaying yet another fucking sporting event from 10 years ago, or yet more "heartwarming" tales of old grannies learning how to use facetime to chat to their grandchildren - some sarcastic normality was definitely needed.

I never thought I'd say this, but I think it needs canned laughter. The silence that in normal times denotes a joke fallen flat is very disconcerting.

Definitely did their best in trying circumstances but kept expecting to hear 'Ian has joined the conference Paul has left the conference and periodic requests for people to mute their lines.

It's one of my favourite programmes so I'm gonna stick with it!

Interesting to see the inside of their houses. Ian in front of highbrow-looking books and Paul with millions of DVDs.

It didnt work that well, but still better than a load of shit repeats. Did feel a bit like a teams meeting with a slight delay after comments. And still had a couple laugh out loud moments, but I think it did show how much chemistry there is when paul and Ian are in the studio together and bouncing off each other and the audience
