I'm more upset that Willow's off! She was just trying to save Dean

Does anyone know what the song was called as Colby for to prison?

As Colby got to prison that should say.

I am so sad Willow has left, especially when her and Dean have parted on such bad terms 🥺

@KatieKat88 I don't know why Willow thought Dean would be happy that Colby has gone to prison and left Bella with no family 😕

@Crinkle77 if you watch that part again on My5 and put the subtitles on they sometimes include the name of the song in the subtitles (I often blowdry my hair in front of H&A and have the subtitles on!).

I reckon something will come out that it was a deal, he had something to prove Dean's involvement etc but agreed to keep quiet as he just wanted the murderer. Otherwise why not wait and see. Either he'd implicate himself or he wouldn't

@CurbsideProphet thanks for it. It's called Bitter End by The Rubens. The subtitles didn't mention The song but I got the first couple of lines and searched it and it came up. That scene was so sad cos the music was good and Colby looked so forlorn. Gutted he's leaving cos I've had a thing for him for a while and he's been looking rather fit recently.

That prison looked really grim.

I don't get why Colby and Willow didn't bring up the fact Ross kidnapped and tried to kill Willow, Shiny Face and Bella before Colby rescued them. I know Colby killed Ross in cold blood but surely they would try to mitigate his crime with the fact Ross tried to kill his wife and sister? And wasn't Willow actually shot by Ross? No-one has ever mentioned that again.

I don't think it would have made any difference to the sentence: the problem is that Ross was defeated and Colby could have very easily arrested him and brought him in to be tried for what he did to Willow - and, given that he's a police officer, the fact that he didn't is even more indefensible than if he'd been an ordinary member of the public.

Because what he did was a deliberate choice, there were no mitigating circumstances.

Admittedly my experience of criminal law comes only from TV programmes, but I think Colby has a good chance of an appeal given the crazy trial plot line. He needed Morag.

Oh yes, Morag would have sorted this mess out wouldn't she.

Killed purposely instead of arrested. Body buried and evidence destroyed which suggests a level headedness.
Concealed the truth and lied throughout the investigation.

If he'd shot him and called the authorities I think he'd have got away with it

i am not an angelo fan. but don't blame him for being smug. Colby murdered Ross, he then had an affair with Angelos wife.
thats before you think of Angelos hatred for the river boys.

@CurbsideProphet I'm assuming she knew Dean would be angry, she was planning to leave before they all found out and reacted to it because she'd told the other gym instructors that Jazzy would be sorting the rosters, not her. I think she thought it was worth him not forgiving her and them all losing Colby as long as Dean didn't self sabotage and say he did it instead. Which he did seem pretty close to doing.

Yup, I think the speed with which she decided to leave, she knew it would always end that way. Better he hates her free than loves her from jail

Yes I agree, Willow planned this and knew she wouldn’t be able to reconcile with Dean. Makes her sacrifice all the more special. I thought she was really brave for doing what she did. I also think she has left for good, which I think is really sad. Feel like they’ve moved on a bit too quick in today’s episode though... someone they know was arrested for murder yesterday but no one seems to be interested.

It's a shame they couldn't tie in Willow leaving with her getting back together with the female doctor who covered Tori's maternity leave. I liked her.

I had forgotten about Morag. The actress passed away didn't she? It is a shame as she would have been excellent in this storyline.

Yeah, H&A definitely feels Cordelia's absence at times like this. O thought about her with the Dean custody case. So much better than Toadie.

Morag was always full of righteous anger. Bloody loved her.

Morag was brilliant and the only person that could take Alf down a peg or two when he needed it.

Moral was quite nasty to Marilyn when the latter was her cleaner. She softened up later on, but pleasingly not too much.

I had also though Colby might use mitigating circumstances, like Ross abusing him and Bella, killing his Mum, shooting Willow etc. But I guess given he covered it up and was a cop he really had nowhere to go with that.

Earlier in the trial it was mentioned about the abuse, but they showed so littl, it was a passing question

This has nothing to do with anything, but on Tuesdays episode there was a scene near the beach by the trees and several pheasant / turkey type creatures were wandering around. Did anyone else notice this? I think it was maybe Marilyn and Irene walking together.

Yes I did - apart from the Morgan’s dog there hardly seems to be any animals so it was noticeable
