Colby mentioned it has gone to trial v quickly, he was suprised himself

Angelo used to be a nice guy when he was in it years ago. He's come back so bitter and self righteous. I wonder if he'll stay in the Bay as the local cop once Colby has gone?

I never watched it when Angelo was in it before. I have watched Home and Away for about 20 years on and off but had a couple of times where I haven’t watched it for a long time, so I guess that was one of those times. I missed Colby say how quick it had been in going to trial. It is good we don’t have to wait for ages though but I do find it a bit weird. Part of me is wondering what is going to happen with Justin’s storyline too. Hope it’s not bad news

Also I hated Angel before as he killed Jack

Admittedly killing Jack was not Angelo's finest hour although it was an accident. As some sort of payback he then allowed Martha and Hugo (Jack's cousin was it) to escape the police and ride off into the sunset. He was a much better person when owner of Angelo's restaurant (now Salt) and not a police officer.

I loved Jack to be fair so never have forgiven Angelo. Wanted Jack to be in witness protection but it seems that didn't happen who did that?

I forgot that. So he was always bad, HUgo was human trafficer if I remember right

Yes Hugo was a human trafficker and I think Angelo was let off killing Jack in return for going undercover to bring down the human trafficking ring.

But if he let HUgo go , he must have been a bent cop.

The unresolved Hugo human trafficking storyline still annoys me to this day! Hugo and Martha disappear off without trace and that's the end of it (apart from Roo's attempt to find them the other year presumably as a reason for the actress to have extended leave)! I had forgotten Angelo's connection to all of that. And no one has even mentioned Nicole, even though Angelo left the bay with her. Oh I hate it when they forget that we do remember what has happened previously 🙈😬😀

I had forgotten about Jack. He was a good cop. I need to look on Back to the Bay as I can't remember his family.

Yea I would really prefer that Angelo's slightly shady past is brought to the attention of Colby etc. I'm not thrilled that Angelo just gets to win and then disappear off.

Urghh, agree about Angelou’s smugness. He got Colby but even that wasn’t good enough. He had to stand up so that his smug little smirky face was not of the last things Colby saw before he got taken away!
Feel so sorry for Willow though 😔

I don't get why Colby and Willow didn't bring up the fact Ross kidnapped and tried to kill Willow, Shiny Face and Bella before Colby rescued them. I know Colby killed Ross in cold blood but surely they would try to mitigate his crime with the fact Ross tried to kill his wife and sister? And wasn't Willow actually shot by Ross? No-one has ever mentioned that again.

I really don't know why Willow thought Dean and Bella would be grateful for her testifying against Colby. I'll miss Colby. His change was very clever. Home and Away are good at showing the different shades and sides to their characters.

You are right Curbside, his change was clever. When he first arrived I remember lots of ridicule about his floppy hair and wooden acting. But today made me realise he'd really grown on me as a character.

The same happened with Dean too. The writers are very good at what they do.

I haven't posted on one of these threads in ages but came for a look after all the Colby drama. I can't believe that I've finally started to warm to his character and he's off to prison for 25 years. They have also ruined Angelo for me who I used to luurve (pre-terrible sideburns!).
