So far I haven’t minded this series. The Teddy and baby storyline seems a bit rubbish. I love how they can all just float to whatever hospital they want 😂

This thread disappeared from my list! Caught up with the episodes last night.

I don't know how to feel about Greys at the moment, I'm loving the distraction from it all at the moment.. but it just doesn't feel like the old Greys, maybe it'll get better, but I am worried about this season.

So, I don't like the whole Pac North storyline, i don't think we need two hospitals in the series.

The only characters I really like at the moment are Amelia and Linc, oh and I think I like De Luca, but mainly because I feel sorry for him as he obviously loves Meredith but it's testing him.

Oh just another thought from the latest episodes, when De Luca was talking to bailey he said there was no chief resident as they'd quit due to Meredith's list, Dr Kahn? Who even is that?

I’m tempted to re-watch the whole Greys from the start. I miss Izzy, Mark and Lexi.

I started watching old Greys whilst doing the ironing the other day. I miss it. But I suppose after nearly 16 seasons what more can they do? It’s a bit tired now. And all the residents don’t have much about them.

I had a quick google and can't actually find a Dr Kahn character, so presumably just a random name plucked out of Shondas hat?

Though there was Dr Hahn who was chief resident, but I thought she completely left? Can't remember what happened to her character, did she just disappear into the greys hospital but has now finally left

Yeah Erica Hahn was a surgeon and soooooo qualified so it can’t be her. No idea who Khan was.

I miss derek too. That episode where he died. My god. My fave ever episodes though distressing was the two where the shooter was on the loose and shot derek. That was Greys at its best imho

@Yallreadyforthis I thought the same thing about Charmed!! Were they playing the same characters? Obviously the third one didn’t want to do it.

I have also started watching Station 19. It is a Greys spinoff but so far (4 episodes in) a lot of crossover. One of the main characters is Ben (Bailey’s hot husband), another one is the girl Jackson is now dating, and a few others have been on Greys more than once. It’s soapy and ridiculous but similar to Greys in that there’s tons of sex and relationship drama but it revolves around a firehouse rather than a hospital. And of course as they work all of these incredibly rare things happen all the time to keep it interesting!

@burntpinky of course the best episode ever is when Izzy cut Denny’s LVAD wire and they all said they had done it.

Or when Meredith told Derek he had to choose between her and his wife, whose name escapes me but she left to star in Private Practice.

Or when George died.

Where are people watching the old greys? It's not on Netflix is it? Maybe I'll rewatch some of them.

I agree re the shooter episode, that was fantastic.

I'm glad no one else knows who Dr Kahn is!! Maybe I'll check on twitter and see if there's any clues.

I quite liked the Charmed sisters turning up.

What did everyone think to Merediths list? I can't believe she was so naive / stupid to send all that to the press and not expect them to spin it?!

I'm not sure about her character at the moment, and where are her children??

I feel sorry for De Luca I think really.

I miss George. They just don’t seem to have the good characters these days. I also wish Maggie wasn’t as flaky. She’s so smart but she comes across as quite socially immature.

I’ve tried station 19 but as I watch Chicago Fire I found it didn’t compare. A bit too over the top

I miss the first few seasons, much better than the later ones.

Now I'm sat here trying to decide on my favourite episodes.....

Shooter, 007 and April's loss of Samuel, dreadfully sad but brilliantly done. Think I was pregnant myself at the time so.extra blubbing for me. I called the pregnancy there, the minute she said hormonal! De Luca hasn't a chance really does he? He just told her to have a bit of sense, he was right but she goes all superior and sanctimonious.

Yes these ones were brilliantly done.

The one where there was a storm and the power went down and Weber was electrocuted.

I thought Private Practice was fantastic, remember the kidnapping!!
I love all the questioning of US healthcare, just like New Amsterdam (which is good)

And the one with a sink hole where they had to talk the guy through amputating his fiancées arm?

And April bringing the whole car on the back of a truck to extract him from the crash.
