So I had a look and I couldn't find a thread for this series (apologies if there is one already and if someone could link me!) so I thought I'd start one.

Who is looking forward to the new series starting tonight at 8bells on BBC2??

Well you know the lights went out. I loved the picnic.
Not sure that I think of potatoes and onions for the secret garden, think that's the one book I'd have been okay with lavender or bloody edible flowers.

I had to deal with naughty children.

The plates are pretty this round.

That was meant to say GrinGrin

Haha, they were just out of bed, the cheeky monkeys. I hate BST.

PotterHead1985 · 06/05/2020 20:34

How old are they? I hated BST as a kid top cos my mam was strict with bedtime but other kids on the road got to stay out and play!!!

jay55 · 06/05/2020 20:35

I can't imagine trying to keep a bedtime routine etc right now. Knowing what day it is is hard enough. And as for throwing in a bank holiday on Friday.....

GrouchyKiwi · 06/05/2020 20:35

They're 3, 5 and 8. I'm not giving up my quiet evenings!

PotterHead1985 · 06/05/2020 20:36

I was well jelly of the bank holiday but to be fair ours was Monday gone and the last 3 have been a complete waste of bank holidays so...

I have totally lost days of the week. Went out Tuesday (as I know no it was) morning to the shop and copped the neighbours bin out. Had to leg it back for mine.

OP posts:
GrouchyKiwi · 06/05/2020 20:37

It's not that different for us, to be fair, as I usually home ed anyway. We just miss our activities and our friends.

Surprised by the scores. I thought he liked some of them more than they indicated.

jay55 · 06/05/2020 20:37

PotterHead same, but they had no problem with me reading in bed all hours. I think they just hated my friends.

PotterHead1985 · 06/05/2020 20:38

@jay55 reading was always acceptable. I was reading at a 12 year old age level by the time I was 5

OP posts:
PotterHead1985 · 06/05/2020 20:41

Well I don't see them being popular with kids whatever about the adult banquet guests.

OP posts:
jay55 · 06/05/2020 20:41

I love oysters but don't like the idea of them chopped up. I'm not able to imagine it properly.

GrouchyKiwi · 06/05/2020 20:42

If they've actually told them about children being at the banquet then most of the chefs are bloody useless.

PotterHead1985 · 06/05/2020 20:43

@GrouchyKiwi I know one group a few weeks ago knew (one of the ones with alcohol in their dish)

PotterHead1985 · 06/05/2020 20:45

Anyone else's pic jump there.

OP posts:
GrouchyKiwi · 06/05/2020 20:45

Yeah, I remember some of them talking about children being there. But only one region. It's weird.

GrouchyKiwi · 06/05/2020 20:45

Think my pic was fine.

PotterHead1985 · 06/05/2020 20:46

Ruth mentioned kids there.
