Liar - ready for season 2

I just watched season 1. I came across it in the home page of ITV hub and didn’t realise season 2 is due to come out but that explains why it was there...

Anyone else excited for series 2 or have any theories on how Andrew died?

I haven’t a bloody clue. I can’t make head nor tail of any of it, and tbh I can’t be bothered to try. Such a disappointment after the first series.

I am beyond confused after watching that,
It's totally preposterous the whole damn thing - but I'll watch the last episode just to fry my brains a wee bit more.

I can't get my head round the timelines this week at all.
The male detective subplot storyline is bloody ridiculous.
And I suppose there'll be a another twist with the
storyline of the abused lead detective too, now her abuser has been released.

And what on earth is Andrew being injected with and why??

I don't think Andrew was being injected with anything. I think his shady mate was taking his blood, probably to set up Laura by spraying it around somewhere.

Too many names and characters now. And even the most twisted detective surely wouldn't see an innocent girl go to jail for years, to save his son's career?

Yes Ollie is definitely gay as he "seduced" Andrew's junior doctor and when Andrew went to collect the young man's coat from Ollie's flat that's how they first met.

Then Andrew planted the camera etc there and had evidence of Ollie drugging another man and that's what got Andrew into all this behaviour and also what he's using to blackmail him.

The friend who Andrew filmed drug raping boys in his flat

Is this the same friend who he got to get his car for him and who was in tonight’s episode?

I thought they were different people

I couldn't follow the part about the detective's son at all. What has framing Laura got to do with his drug overdose?

Bunny yes it's the same friend - Ollie -he drove down from Scotland (where they first met) after Andrew rang him.
