I quite enjoyed the first series a couple of years ago but didn't realise it had been commissioned for a second. Looking forward to it tonight, and Nicola's wardrobe too!

I remember liking the first series, but cannot for the life of me remember what it was about, other that something with her father, Giles from Buffy?

The dad had abandoned them as children and gone with a much younger woman and moved to America

The main character (Nicola Walker) Hannah had quit the family firm for a fresh start, but this led to personal and professional complications because her mother was hiding the fact the family firm was going under.

Hannah had a situationship with a colleague but felt guilty because she was married to boring Stephen Mangan. She then discovered he'd been cheating and was on an Ashley Madison type list. Did he also try it on with her sister?

Eventually her firm bought out her family firm so now she has to work with her Mum and sister again.

Younger sister is a flake who nearly didnt go through with her wedding and I think snogged the vicar

The Dad came back for her wedding and died.

She left her sisters wedding to shag fit colleague.

Meera Syal and Stephen Tompkinson were the ongoing divorce case. He had a kid by her best friend and she had no idea.

Think that's it.

I'm here for the wardrobe! I saw a Nicola Walker on Lorraine and she was going on about how great her wardrobe is for this show. I'm going to put on the kettle and decide on snacks before I get settled down to watch.
