I quite enjoyed the first series a couple of years ago but didn't realise it had been commissioned for a second. Looking forward to it tonight, and Nicola's wardrobe too!

I agree the Donna Air storyline is hard to watch. I'm not really sure how Hannah is planning to keep her safe once she files for divorce.

@Clawdy I watched the whole series already, so many people maybe have too - I don't know anyone in rl watching it "live".

Just me then! I know there's another thread for people who have seen it all.

I don't know how you can resist watching them all :-D

We watched episodes 2 to 6 of season 2 on saturday afternoon, having watched the rest one by one during the week. Loved it!

I've started following the costume designer on IG and she does answer if you ask her where are particular piece is from. Nina's blouse is DVF but I've been unable to find it anywhere online.

No spoilers on here please. There is another thread for those who've seen all of Series 2.

What happened to "delayed gratification" ?
All this rush to watch a whole series in a night or two. Smile

Im just jealous we can't get the BBC player in Ireland - though i understand the reasoning. We don't pay the BBC licence fee.

We have our own state funded and funded by licence fee tv here in Ireland called RTE..

beanaseireann nobody has posted any spoilers? 🤔

Oh I know SpanishFly.
Just reminding all those who've watched the whole series already, not to, please.
There is another thread with spoilers that I was tempted to read for those who wish to discuss the series.

I'm watching live too due bbc player absence in Ireland. Struggling with it this series really starting to dislike hannah she has completely checked out from her family is rarely ever there. I know her and nathan are struggling but you don't dump your kids Confused. I also find she has very little dialogue just does a lot of squirming and staring. I'm finding it really irritating in fact all the characters are.

Donna storyline is good and I am interested to see how they cover it I'm glad they're looking at options for keeping her safe.

Hannah has loads of time for her sisters and mum but apparently very little for her own children.

I've watched the first and second series all on Iplayer absolutely loved it! I'd also love her wardrobe especially the raincoat.

Nina's shirts are from Sandro - last year - I tried on the one in Episode 1 (it was in the sale). Didn't suit meSad

I liked S1 but found S2 annoying - all of them, and hammy. Christie was far too pathetic. The whole thing pretty much.

The Spit gets a mention in the Daily Mail today. Jan Moir echoes my post re Hannah - Christie's attraction to her. She's always so preoccupied and a bit grumpy looking.
But the clothes are nice. Smile

Jan Moir is hardly to be relied upon as a judge of character!

Maybe not QueenoftheAndals, but I think I'm fairly good at it. Wink

Not in UK - I have no idea what type of journalist Jan Moir is. I only very occasionally read her articles in the free Daily Mail app.

Really enjoyed season 1and just started s2 . I feel it's informative as well as entertaining wrt family law (albeit at the richer end of the scale). Also, nice to see Donna Air back on our screens. She seems well suited to the role and gorgeous as ever.

If it's on the daily fail then that is an indicator as to the type of journalist Wink

@QueenOfTheAndals can you link to the costume design insta please? I think I’m enjoying the clothes and interiors more than the plot.
Beginning to wonder what the point of Rise and her husband are. So wet the pair of them.
Nina is slaying this series.

Who on earth looks after the kids? Hannah is out all night and surely Nathan can’t be doing all the school runs, he’s a barrister too! They were so upset when they found a spliff in their daughters school bag but they must be like strangers to the kids!

Squigean · 22/02/2020 09:59

I was thinking that missyB1. I mean teenagers can be notoriously vague about their lives even when their parents are seeing them regularly.
