Well let’s see if Sarah Phelps can actually stick to an Agatha Christie story or will go off piste again, which doesn’t always bode well.....

Only two episodes so it should be fast paced. Not dragged out anyway.

I don’t think it will be remotely like the book judging from the trailer. IMO all the recent BBC Christie adaptations have been rubbish!

At least it's got the gorgeous Rufus in it. From what I remember it's a bit of a strange one.

Me too! They’ll probably make it too dark with menacing music too loud that you won’t be able to hear the dialogue. I’m not holding out much hope but there’s sod else on!

Well, it's not going to be like Miss Marple or Poirot.

I’ve seen the Geraldine Mcewan one - it’s a great story. A bit more dark and sinister than the usual miss marples I think.

It won't do the story justice. I don't know why she doesn't write her own stories instead of these terrible adaptations.

@ShesGotBetteDavisEyes, it’s not a Marple story! She’s not in the book. It has Ariadne Oliver but I don’t think she appears in this version - we’ll see.

Well it was deffo done as a Miss Marple a few years back with Geraldine Mcewan! puffin Pauline Collins was in it too. I haven’t read the book though.

One of my favourite agatha christies. Shouldn't be judged on other (poor) tv versions.

Julia McKenzie is a pretty good Miss Marple. Geraldine McKewan was rubbish. Far too arch. (Though I loved her as Lucia)

Joan Hickson was the only miss Marple.

They've messed the plot up already the priest who took the confession and got knocked off isn't in it!
