I was really starting to like Bobby, then he possibly kills Denny, and I like him even more. EastEnders seem to pushing arseholes off buildings and running them over, it’s a lot of instant Karma, unfortunately none of them are dying though. Still, there’s hope for the boat trip of doom.

Chienloup · 31/01/2020 23:55

Surely Denny is okay. Trying to scare Bobby by pretending to be hurt, maybe? He really is unpleasant.

iknowimcoming · 01/02/2020 11:01

Will the shock finally make Shazza go into labour?

The80sweregreat · 01/02/2020 11:19

Denny being Shirley's wing man and Nick Cotton's daughter fixing cars is a recipe for disaster! Not to mention a bit surreal.
I'm sure Denny will be ok though.

Optimist1 · 01/02/2020 13:09

When Shirley said something along the lines of "listen to what your boss says" to Dotty was she referring to herself or heaven forbid giving Denny authority over her work?

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 02/02/2020 22:30

Linda is playing the part well - it's so hard to watch.

qazxc · 03/02/2020 11:13

I think she was referring to Denny as "the boss".

NumberMonkey · 03/02/2020 20:22

Shock noooooo

meow1989 · 03/02/2020 20:22

Oh no I'm finding the scenes with ollie very hard to watch!SadSad

That was horrible. Poor Ollie.
Denny really is a completely horrible human being!

NumberMonkey · 03/02/2020 20:36

I’d be having that door bricked up!! It was hard to watch tonight.

MoonlightMistletoe · 03/02/2020 20:36

That was awful to watch my heart was beating out of my chest!

Great acting from Linda !

The80sweregreat · 03/02/2020 20:46

I knew that Ollie would be ok but it was still horrible. However, they shouldn't have left Linda alone at all and Chan should have taken him with her when she left. She could see and hear how intoxicated she was.
Poor kid must be traumatised. That roof is lethal!
Sharon should have got in touch with mick straight away as she should know all about alcoholism being married to Phil for years as well! They all seem in denial about how out of control she is ( or they were)
Let's hope they can get her some help.

meow1989 · 03/02/2020 20:54

In real life in chantelle position youd call the police if you didnt feel safe and there was a kid in that environment.

And if it were me and DH with DH as an alcoholic putting my child at risk he would be out the house like that.

And social care would probably insist on this as mick isnt acting as a protective factor. The school would also raise concerns about Linda taking ollie when mick clearly didnt know in light of the history.

But this is eastenders Smile

lazymum99 · 03/02/2020 21:53

Unless mick gets Linda out of that house SS will end up removing Ollie.

qazxc · 04/02/2020 06:47

FFS when will they ever lock that roof door. It's not even like they need frequent access to it.
If it were me and DP in the Mick and Linda scenario, I would expect and want him to kick me out / protect our child above anyone else.

icecreamsundae32 · 04/02/2020 07:38

I was thinking last night if a kid lived there you would have that roof access securely bolted and locked so they couldn't ever get up there - it's ridiculous that it would be so easy for him to get up there! Will Shirley showering her off be the kick up the arse she needs?

God I hate Denny what a nasty little shit doing that to bobby! And so cocky to Linda too when she asked how's your head...how's yours?! Can't believe Sharon didn't slap his smug face... but I suppose he'd report her!!

PinkDaydreams · 04/02/2020 07:43

Denny sounded stupid saying “just you wait till Phil gets back, he’ll paste you all over the square” or whatever it was he said. Trying to act the tough lad then hiding behind Phil, idiot. Bobby did a good thing apologizing, he’s trying to get the family back together.

PattiPrice · 04/02/2020 09:09

Chantelle wouldn’t have left Ollie there but also where was Mick? He knows already Linda can’t be trusted with a child for now yet left her to it. Kellie Bright is doing a great job!
Kush is being charged with gbh? Is he leaving it? Kush must look back at his simple life with Shabs and wonder how the hell did it all go so wrong. From that to living in the house of horror with loads of kids, police involvement, a sleazy aunt in law....
Ash’s girlfriend (whose name has never made an impression on me) is very annoying. She pops up everywhere making the wrong decisions for everyone else. Where has the other sister gone?

SoupDragon · 04/02/2020 09:34

Perhaps that's why he pushed Leo off the balcony 😂 I think it will all come to a head when Leo does something truly awful and Kush is absolved of any wrong-doing.

Habiba has been seen in Walford East. Not since she mistakenly threw Mo the 50th birthday party though 😂

MashedSpud · 04/02/2020 10:18

Linda’s huge wailing mouth is putting me off Eastenders.

When Phil had a booze/crack bender with Rainie he was recovered after a weekend.

I can only hope Mick divorces her and she has a special EE tune send off in a taxi to rehab, forever.

SoupDragon · 04/02/2020 11:08

I like that they've portrayed Linda as a nasty, ugly crying drunk. None of this sugar coating it!

PattiPrice · 04/02/2020 12:56

None of this sugar coating it!

I agree. They are doing it very well.

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 04/02/2020 13:04

Agree. Alcoholism can be very ugly. I’m glad they’re showing it as a selfish ugly thing. They/Kellie bright are doing a brilliant job.

Shirley is being vile- even in front of Ollie which she shouldn’t do.
