I can't believe it's been 35 years as I recall watching the first episode and thinking ' this won't last !' I was only 20 though ( and wrong) it was only on twice a week back then.

Whitney was an idiot, I was literally shouting at the TV, visited Leo in hospital then left her bag on the seat with the diary in (where she had been writing down everything he had done) and went to get him a coffee, of course Leo now has said diary

Linda is selfish and cannot take any responsibility for her own action when sober let alone pissed.

Back in the day Whitney was known on here as Witless or Twitney so she hasn't lost the knack of being a total idiot. Watching her coming onto Leo made me feel very uncomfortable.

Sharon will surely call her baby Angie. She called her last baby after someone, it’s what they do really isn’t it. Family and all that....though having a Denny and Angie would be too much. Maybe Shelley? I can’t see Sharon pushing a buggy around the square. It will ruin her character

I thought Whitney left her bag there on purpose so Leo would find it. I presumed she had written positive things about him. It is an annoying storyline. The notebook is unnecessary anyway. They have enough evidence by her phone records alone to see he was harassing her.

What on Earth was she wearing? A tracksuit? A onesie? Her pjs? She was supposed to be interested in fashion at one time? Is that fashionable in London for that age group?

The Mick and Linda storyline is being done very well. I don’t think Linda is selfish. She obviously needed more help than she got after Dean, cancer, Stewart, Mick going to prison, the pub roof drama, going to lose the pub, Mick and Whitney.... Ollie’s medical diagnosis was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Anybody would have lost the plot and gone AWOL after all those things one after the other, and she mostly coped on her own with Shirley fighting against her all the time. She needed a psychologist after all that, not Shirley constantly bullying her with insults and snide remarks.

I hope she isn’t going to leave EE. Often before a character leaves, they have a big storyline and then they are gone.
