Blondeshavemorefun · 18/02/2020 20:33

Tho I think he’s alive

Now we know why ian made a dash / not for the lifeboats but to unlock Denny

She definitely saw something, she didn’t want those police in the Kitchen.
So new new head Peter was obviously already in the country & didn’t want Ian to know (either that or he can travel faster than the speed of sound) I missed what Jack said, is Lauren back too?

PattiPrice · 18/02/2020 20:55

Yes I think Lauren is back as Jack said he was helping her.

Who was at the bottom of the street at the very beginning. Was it Bobby? I looked back at it again and even paused the tv but couldn’t make out who it was?

Figgygal · 18/02/2020 21:09

It was Ben on the square at the start he was in his checked coat

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 18/02/2020 21:31

It’s all so disjointed and makes no sense! why did Ben take Sharon to the funeral parlour at gun point? then suddenly Cathy was left alone with Sharon, where did Ben go and why? and does no one ever think to get in a taxi and take themselves to hospital? Sharon is clearly in serious trouble so why on earth did Cathy not at the very least go and find super Sonia? It’s is all so ridiculous it’s making my brain hurt.

Mrsjayy · 18/02/2020 21:37

I think we will get a Ben episode and it will explain it is disjointed and confusing though

NoisyBrain · 18/02/2020 21:40

Just caught up with tonight's episode. Spent a lot of it saying "Eh?" and "Oh no!" but mostly "WHO is looking after all the kids on the square?!"

On a side note, my theory was confirmed today as to where they have been filming all the abandoned factory scenes with Keanu etc. as I went past it on the train Grin

TheFlis12345 · 18/02/2020 21:43

Ben locked Sharon in, presumably to use as an exchange to get Halfway back from Keanu. She then went into labour so he got Kathy to come and help and now they are both locked in.

lazymum99 · 18/02/2020 21:48

But didn’t Kathy call an ambulance. They can’t be locked in.
Has anyone’s baby been born in a hospital in the last 35 years of eastenders?

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 18/02/2020 21:49

That makes a bit more sense TheFliss12345 thank you!

lazymum99 · 18/02/2020 21:50

You are not very far from any major hospital in London. Call a bloody Uber.

inkysplatter · 18/02/2020 21:50

Oh please not Lauren. I can't stand her. They definitely killed off the wrong sister.

There are no kids on the square on short plot devices with tiny hands that can be ignored at will.

lazymum99 · 18/02/2020 21:53

As an aside I remember the marchioness tragedy and reading the stories of the survivors and it was really awful. I’m not sure eastenders should do this story.

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 18/02/2020 21:54

My brain is hurting again Lazy I had forgotten that bit, so Sharon is bleeding to death in an unlocked funeral parlour in the middle of the square and neither of them are choosing to get help? As an aside baby Peggy was born in hospital!

PattiPrice · 18/02/2020 21:54

I thought Phil had the gun on the boat? Phil’s contact must have given him the gun when we thought he was looking for money?

How did Ben get it?

Where did Martin put the old gun?

We can only guess Ben met Phil and gave him the gun? Unless there are two guns?

It’s crazy that half of them even got on the boat. They are going through marriage breakups, Bobby in hospital, Bex witnessed a racist attack and they decide the best action is party on!

Mrsjayy · 18/02/2020 21:54

My dd said Bernie is probably babysitting and making a fortune watching a dozen or so kids !

PattiPrice · 18/02/2020 21:56

And ALL of Ollie’s family are getting drunk on a boat or abroad. Is Ollie on his own!!!

lazymum99 · 18/02/2020 21:58

There’s more guns in this than a spaghetti western.

NoisyBrain · 18/02/2020 21:59

Ah yes of course, Bernie!
Maybe Kat has left her lot (+Cherry) with Jean. Which would seem a bit much for a woman going through chemo and nursing her terminally ill partner but hey, this is EE.

Mrsjayy · 18/02/2020 22:01

I don't think Shirley went just Linda and Tina the womble!

iknowimcoming · 18/02/2020 22:16

I reckon Thursdays episode will be the same again from Ben/Phil/sharon/shirleys/POV and then Friday will be the big reveal. Can we get Sonia to take the wrap for Leo's death please, a nice 10 year stretch would get rid of her for a while and think of all the lives she could save in Holloway Grin

SoupDragon · 18/02/2020 22:25

Has anyone’s baby been born in a hospital in the last 35 years of eastenders?

Louise had baby Peggy in hospital! Very unusual and more worthy of comment than, say, the store room of the Minute Mart. Or the pub toilets. Or a squat.

iknowimcoming · 18/02/2020 22:29

Just remembered this, My dd was involved with a youth group who every year organised a boat party on the Thames (not London) it was organised by the oldest kids each year so 18 year olds and attended by 60 ish 16-18 year olds. I was always shocked every year the boat company allowed it but she went 3 times, each without incident (apart from year she fell down some steps and broke both her shoes, not alcohol related) although I have to say the crew were hyper-vigilant with underage drinking to the point of only allowing people to purchase individual drinks, no rounds and watching and I'd checking at tables so you couldn't buy drinks for others. I'm pretty sure there was no evacuation run-through at any time either.

inkysplatter · 18/02/2020 22:43

I thought Phil had the gun in the cellar of the Vic and passed it to Shirley - presumably time give to Ben. I never saw him on the boat.
