What a ridiculous episode. I agree with all the comments on here. I sat there saying to myself, "Why is she doing that?" "Why didn't they do that?" And yes, Harry Hill would have had a field day with this episode.

I hope Patrick's long lost son goes overboard and takes his mother with him. Jack believed Mick when he said the knife was to cut the cake with. As though there wouldn't have been a knife in the kitchen.

Linda’s coat (that she wore into the boat- it was off in later scenes) and Tina’s coat were similar. For anyone on the boat who saw a floating coat they could reasonably suspect it was either of the two.

I'd let Raine survive. Her and Stu are well suited and she has some great lines sometimes. She's like Shirley, tough exterior but soft inside. Agree about Denny going, it's a pity he wasn't on the boat.
