Our loft hatch opening is at top of the stairs and getting the ladder down to get into it is a bit of a palaver to say the least! Takes up the entire top of the stairs and you can't pull the ladder back in easily once your up there either so it would be obvious someone was up there. (I've never tried it but it might be doable , but it would also be very noisy to do)

He is obviously climbing into the loft area somehow ! I know his young and fit but old homes like Dot's place have high ceilings as well!
His up and down all the time as well.
Silly story but i have heard / read of people having spy holes in their lofts so it can be done and terraced homes with joining lofts as Nancy said. Creepy though!

Leo and his impossibly shiny knife, my guess is someone is about to get stabbed.

Linda is really annoying me, she looks for any excuse to have a drink, anyone even slightly critical of her then she’s necking vodka while giving them a “you made me do this” face. I hope Mick finally sees the lift and throws her out, he won’t though.

Creepy Leo is just as irritating. I get the feeling the keanu story is being wrapped up very quickly.

@PattiPrice yes Les and Pam, Ted and wife were good. Perhaps it's because we are older watchers, well I am! Would be nice for a change if Mick and Linda were happy for once. Seems as if they've had some kind of drama ever since they arrived. Either that, or get them split up, would make a change at least.

I agree that I like some of the older characters - I wasnt so keen on Ted and his wife, but I did like Pam and Les and Ashad and Mariam. I think older characters are under utilised in Eastenders and they don't seem to get big storylines, just come along an help someone out with something and then leave.

I think Kellie Bright is doing a great job at portraying addiction. I guess being highly irritating and people disliking her character shows this.

Ashad and Mariam yes! They were so calm, kind and quiet. Maybe I'm getting old but I find EE is so noisy lately.

Suki is a bit older but turning out to be nasty/ manipulative. Patrick might have a bit of a story with his new son. The rest are not that old really even jean and Daniel are only 50s or something so not old old! Mo is getting on , but rarely has her own story and Kathy looks and acts mush younger than she is. They could do with an older couple in their 60s like the Cokers. They were good and Pam was great.

Suki and her oldest son are like Kathy and Ian. They look the same age. I need to check the age of the actress.

I love Daniel. I wish he was staying (though obviously we have to assume not). On the other hand, I find all the crime stuff tedious and ridiculous and I just wish they’d get it over with.

I missed the last spoiler. I wouldn’t choose to read them ie I wouldn’t check Digital Spy etc but if people mistakenly say something, I can’t get too bothered about it either but I prefer not to know what will happen as someone who watches each episode and has done for years, I don’t see the point of knowing what is going to happen. It is the same as buying a book and reading the first chapter and then the last chapter. I actually knew someone who used do exactly this when she borrowed a book!

I think Leo is losing his mind and is dangerous. I think he will attack Kush or Mick or someone Whit has confided in. Going around with a huge knife has to be because he is going to use it. Oh maybe Linda will see it when she is drunk and kill him and won’t remember it and somebody else will be blamed???? Maybe Kush or Whit? Or Mick ‘goes daaawn’ for his beloved L??? That’s the usual storyline for these type of things. The wrong person is frequently jailed! If this programme is aired abroad and classified as a ‘reality drama’ the audience must think the UK police force is completely incompetent. And the nurses are miracle workers!! I will never ever forget Sonia saving Ben’s life on the Bic floor with a dirty lemon knife and a BIC! I will never forget it but it seems Ben already has - surely if Sonia has approached him when Martin was in trouble and told him to lay off Martin - Ben would have to agree to anything she said!!!

The Leo story has quickly gone from being exciting to feeling tedious - can't be bothered to comment anymore about it.

Kellie Bright is doing superb work with this alcoholism story. Looking forward to the anniversary episodes next week.
