I really can't see Aaron and David being foster parents to a seventeen year old, they aren't old enough to be his parents.

BreconBeBuggered · 15/08/2020 12:43

They don't feel old enough, that's for sure. I'm more Paul Robinson's age and I have a 17-year-old. I suppose it's not that uncommon to father a child in your late teens, though. What are they, mid 30s?
Anyone else keep hearing Nicolette and thinking it sounds like a cigarette substitute?

Starburst8 · 15/08/2020 12:46

I'm not believing the whole foster parents storyline with those two at all.
They're all I'm your best mate rather than being a parent.
I've never been a Foster parent so I don't know if it's any different to parenting your own child, but I'm sensing it won't be entirely.
I know the kids have to settle in but seriously Emmott is getting away with murder.

I know this may be irrational but Aaron annoyed me with his "Em, Em come on down" routine.

MiddleClassProblem · 15/08/2020 12:57

I think the difference as a foster parent is you would attend a training course on how to deal with children who have been through the ringer. I’m not sure if the Boo boos have been through any kind of training. Definitely not very extensively...

woodhill · 15/08/2020 13:18

Arran didn't really help the roof situation. Why didn't he go and assist him getting down.

Jane is absolutely dreadful, wish she'd stayed with Des, the break up story was so unbelievable.

SleepingStandingUp · 15/08/2020 14:09

When Paul is giving you parenting advice and it's better than your own, the training courses have failed.

They're both 32/33 bit think they're pretty immature for it which is the issue

I don’t know why they keep being Jane back. It really is flogging a dead horse. Nicolette could have been a character with no connection to Jane.

Plus Jane and Des would have been a good ending for her. Maybe that’s not over but it should have been done and dusted!

SleepingStandingUp · 15/08/2020 21:15

Can't believe Bea just invited someone the Kennedy's have basically never met to live with them after everything they've been through

DD and her friend always joke that the rule on Ramsey Street is that at some time you will live with Karl and Susan. Amazing if Levi breaks that rule!

MiddleClassProblem · 18/08/2020 15:40

I missed Friday’s sp and 5 have uploaded the wrong one to my 5 and sky. Does anyone know where else I can watch it?

MiddleClassProblem · 18/08/2020 15:41

*ep

dontgiveupyet2 · 18/08/2020 17:52

Love the lack of cleaners and staff in EH. Jane sweeping up. Conveniently walked into another job, there's a surprise

Starburst8 · 18/08/2020 19:07

She's crafty that one. I'd keep my eye on her... She's after Susan's job! You can tell she's shifty 🤣

SunshineOutdoors · 18/08/2020 22:56

Does anyone else get frustrated about how, in the rebecchi house the fireplace is behind the sofa and everything points away from it?

EBearhug · 19/08/2020 09:23

I don't. I have a cupboard in front of my fireplace.

Starburst8 · 19/08/2020 10:03

I don't understand why they have a fire place at all. I would assume its an odd feature, not saying it doesn't get cold in Oz but the houses usually don't have fireplaces and they just have heating (saying that I'm only going off my family's houses, I know they all won't be the same)

Clawdy · 21/08/2020 08:16

Would Paul really be so stupid, offering money so openly to the Nasty Mum?

EBearhug · 21/08/2020 10:12

Of course he would, plenty of past form on that sort of thing.

Samcro · 21/08/2020 19:28

Can we put em, his brother jane and her daughter down the well?
Paul has to be rather stupid, trying to bribe the mum was plain daft

iamtheoneandonlyyy · 22/08/2020 21:30

It's a bit boring at the minute.
Who the hell mckenzie thinks she's talking to demanding Susan announces a protest. Pipe down mate

Clawdy · 22/08/2020 22:31

Mackenzie and Harlow's campaign is rather irritating. Chloe's silly intense smile is irritating. And Shane's shifty uneasy face.....is the worst!!

woodhill · 22/08/2020 23:00

And Jane going "yeeees" in a long drawn out fashion every 5 minutes

SleepingStandingUp · 23/08/2020 13:30

Yeeeees. As if Susan is going to just announce in assembly that there's a protest at Lassiter's in free break/lunch time. Parents would LOVE that

Smidge001 · 27/08/2020 00:14

Posting coz I lost the thread. Jane really does seem a bit shoehorned back in again,, I'm really not sure of the point.
Do we really need to have another female trying to break up Chloe and pierce? Are the writers trying to say bisexuals can't possibly be faithful or something. It's only been 2 minutes since Naomi, and a couple more since Ellie. And now nicolette's having a go. Boring.
Shane is sooooo annoying.
Still enjoying the blondi though
