Used to be on Channel 4 on a Friday night. Just recently read it is 21 years old! Other than making me feel old I have been revisiting on All 4, and I still love it - reminds me of my days during and post uni.

Just watched the clubbing episode - my favourite one!

Very funny, has it stood the test of time?
I'll rewatch and see if it's still funny

StormBaby · 21/01/2020 00:19

The clubbing episode was filmed in one of my favourite clubs back in the day(The Cross, god rest its soul), and it always makes me sad watching it.

puds11 · 21/01/2020 00:24

Colin!

SleepWarrior · 21/01/2020 00:27

The house has tripled in value don't you know!

PermanentTemporary · 21/01/2020 00:29

I have the box set :)

The gun fight episode is my favourite. Love mark heap in this as in everything else.

superoz · 21/01/2020 00:32

SentimentalKiller it still is very funny.

Tyres the clubber looked awfully familiar, then I realised it was Benny from Luther!

Love Spaced so much!

Favourite quote:

Don’t forget to wash your sheets. And your penis.

Ello kittens

Spaced is my favourite t.v. programme. I have the box set on VHS AND on DVD.

Myshitisreal · 21/01/2020 00:45

Box set holder here too. Amazing show definitely stands the test of time. I'll have to rewatch actually

AutumnRose1 · 21/01/2020 00:46

I couldn’t get into it, though I was told, “if you love Black Books, you’ll love Spaced”.

SleepWarrior · 21/01/2020 01:28

I've found the Venn diagram of black books fans and spaced fans to have quite a small overlap. Although I like both I haven't found anyone else who does.

MsMellivora · 21/01/2020 01:37

I have black books and spaced on dvd and can I throw in Green Wing as well.

AutumnRose1 · 21/01/2020 01:39

I got on better with Green Wing than Spaced but never finished it.

I thought the Venn diagram would just have me as the outlier 😂

Fairypiggy · 21/01/2020 01:43

Yes, I rewatched it recently and enjoyed it.
Was weird seeing them looking for flats using the newspaper, that is pretty dated now! Daisy’s friend Twist was bitchier than I remembered too.

Cappachuchu · 21/01/2020 02:00

Vulva 😂

squirreltails · 21/01/2020 02:02

I loved Spaced.

''The Devil in an A-cup!''

and who could forget Colin?

maras2 · 21/01/2020 02:10

'It's too orangey for crows' Is my favourite sketch: Ever. Grin

MildlyMiserable · 21/01/2020 02:12

Spaced, Black Books and Green Wing, an excellent time for comedy on the box.

LaneBoy · 21/01/2020 02:47

Oh yes black books and green wing are fantastic too. Huge favourites here

wellhelloyou · 21/01/2020 02:57

Remember it?! One of my all time favourite series. Adore it. Watch the about whole series about twice a year. Does make me feel incredibly old tho!

"Hellooooo Briiiiiaaaann" ;-)

PintOfBovril · 21/01/2020 02:58

Loved Spaced. It's where my username comes from!

"I'll have a pint of the black stuff"..
"you can't drink a pint of bovril'"

IntermittentParps · 21/01/2020 11:10

I do! And my DP. Although I'd say Black Books is the one that holds the really special place in my heart.

I love the clubbing episode of Spaced; how at first they all stand about looking awkward and clearly wishing they hadn't come, then end up having the night of their lives. So real.

And I really like Brian. 'My work is about Pain... Fear... Anger... Aggression...' Daisy: Watercolours…?

Sparkletastic · 21/01/2020 11:15

Best sit com ever. Eldest is named Daisy in its honour.

DGRossetti · 21/01/2020 15:37

I recommended this to a US friend a couple of weeks ago after reading there was a reunion via FB. It was a weird moment when they got back saying they had never heard of it but were a massive Simon Pegg fan.

A little like my DBs American fiancee who was gobsmacked to see Hugh Laurie (who was in House at the time) in "Blackadder ..."

Speaking of Hugh Laurie (goes off to post again ...)

deplorabelle · 21/01/2020 15:52

I fell asleep on the tube

Where are you?
