Will gray be found out as an abuser - karen and Mitch must be able to see

What is Linda’s secret and her drinking

Will billy and honey get back together

Will Alfie ever be back - will cherry’s mum come back

Will STACEY ever come back

And as we have had deaths the past 3yrs on ee - ray (18) Abbie (17) - ROXY and Ronnie (16)

He definitely burned both passport and wallet.

Stacey hit Phil with the giant spanner in the arches when he was going for Kat. We all thought he was dead. Ben arrived while Kat was holding the spanner and assumed it was her. Told her he would sort it and made them leave.

BlueRussianCat · 01/01/2020 23:28

Linda and Martin are so upset and struggling when they helped him escape.

Linda would want nothing more than to tell Karen her son is safe and not dead. She's a mum herself and she feels guilty knowing she could put Karen out of this misery... But yet can't because then she risks her own family.

BlueRussianCat · 01/01/2020 23:29

Also she did shoot him, regardless of intention. If be fucked up about that myself. She did it without thinking or aiming, under the influence of alcohol. Imagine knowing you're capable of that.

JoanieCash · 01/01/2020 23:35

Now wondering if the very important nurse is going to stumble upon Keanu at hospital.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/01/2020 23:37

Ha

Knew it

Martin isn’t a killer

But gawd knows why both are sooooooooo tortured by what happened

Martin filmed on white phone. Gave keanu a black one

If that was his burner phone then Ben would have the number

He wouldn’t give his own phone away with number

Sonja is a thief again. She stole the money before for a band op

Yes she should be minted - works. Lives rent free

Dot is - £1 188 424 . 34

Almost 1.2 million

And Daniel. Saved the day

Not sure where keanu will go with no money or passport

Grin

It’s so bloody weird.

Mammyloveswine · 02/01/2020 00:28

Haven't watched eastenders for ages but tuned in last week and am now hooked!!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 02/01/2020 00:44

I don't understand Martin's logic of burning Keanu's passport. At least if he had it be could go off abroad. Now he can only stay in the Uk. Where he'll have more chance of being found.
If you think about it that storyline is like Snow white. Where the Queen orders the huntsman to kill her and bring evidence.

Chienloup · 02/01/2020 02:28

I don't get the passport and wallet thing either. It's not as if Phil and Ben have a mate on every border crossing, on the lookout for dead Keanu. What was the point? How did he even get them? Keanu just hand them over? What will be do with no passport, cards, or cash? Very silly.

Ha ha,yes I made the point about Snow White in the last thread, Martin should have brought Ben a pig's heart in a carrier bag!

It wasn't that exciting, I think we had so worked out what had happened. Plus the Sonia thing...poor Nat Cass' - her acting isn't very subtle, I don't think they needed to show her on the laptop spelling it out, it was clear from 10 minutes in. Plus that dodgy phone call to not the bank - no need for any ID security questions, just straight in - "it's Dorothy Branning...yes that's right..." Why did no one call her out on that? It takes me about 15 minutes to finally get through to speak to someone at the bank on the phone, once I've told them my mother's maiden name, pet's name, how much I have in direct debits, my age on my next birthday, and how much I withdrew from the cashpoint at 3.32pm on 17th June 1999.

tobee · 02/01/2020 03:26

Blah! I thought that episode managed to be both confusing and not very suspenseful!

I thought the bit with Martin and Ken talking at the beginning went on too long, the dialogue wasn't that great and the acting wasn't good enough. So I sort of switched off mentally, thinking just show us the important bits.

Also, the chopping and changing to the other storylines didn't add to the tension.

I didn't really get the practicalities that Ian and Sharon were talking about. There didn't seem to be a mention of Sharon going to a solicitor to get her share or whatever.

There weren't enough twists either. The Sherree stuff was entirely predictable it being her son but I still don't understand.

But most of all I now can't stand Phil and Ben for offing Ken like that, and Louise's part in that. I don't see how Phil and Ben would be able to come back from that. They shouldn't be able to get away with it Scot free!!

qazxc · 02/01/2020 08:15

If someone elks into hospital with a gunshot wound, do staff not automatically call police? Or am I thinking about the US.
Keanu has neither the brains or the means to disappear for good.

qazxc · 02/01/2020 08:20

Also Martin is the worse assassin in the world. Surely the first thing to do is turn off phone or leave at home so that it can't be tracked.

The80sweregreat · 02/01/2020 08:23

Chienloup ; you made me smile this morning about the call centres at banks ( which is who Sonia would have called , if she had called anyone , and would be open on Xmas day! ) mine has ' voice recognition ' now as well which adds to the faffing about before you speak to anyone as well as the ' name me two characters from the password you made last decade and your struggling to remember ' and ' what is the reason for your call today? '
' I'm ringing up as I've not nothing to do for hours and thought I'd get messed about by your lot'. ' your call is important to us' : could have fooled me.

Still, Sonia was making it all up and in front of people like Stuart who are not the sharpest tools at times , so I guess she knew she'd get away with it for now.

ooooohbetty · 02/01/2020 08:27

I loved last nights episode. Thought it was all very exciting and I'm glad keanu is still alive because I want him back in the square one day. Can't get away with Martin acting the hard man though.

The80sweregreat · 02/01/2020 08:31

We'd all make better assassins than Martin!
Ben should have hired Villanelle : she wouldn't have let him beg for anything , killed Linda as well and nicked her red Santa tutu to come home in.
No messing.

The80sweregreat · 02/01/2020 08:34

I thought Ian would say ' get a solicitor sorted out Shaz and your ducks in a row and screw him for every penny '
Not, ' I'll fetch your make up bag and eyelash extensions, don't you worry about that ' ! Men eh!

MrHodgeymaheg · 02/01/2020 08:36

Last night's episode was ok. Preferred the drunk Linda episode. It is clear the producers are trying to do something different with EE, which I do like, but I think the dramatic music in the Ken v Martin scenes really didn't work. Glad they have kept his role open and haven't killed off a well liked character like they normally do (still think Abi was a bad idea).

I'm guessing (not spoiler) that Isaac is a long lost son of Patrick's which is why she wants to keep them apart. I reckon him and Sheree had a ding dong on one of his previous visits to Trinidad and he's forgotten.

Agree, not sure why Sonia would risk stealing cash, unless there is a gambling problem or something. Maybe she got a loan from Tubbs!

So it looks like Ade Edminson is staying in EE for a while then? It's a shame we already know his eventual fate and he won't be in long term if he is.

Just occured to me no actual deaths this year. Have to say I've preferred a death free festive season for a change. They still managed to slip in a "not really dead, dead" storyline though.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 02/01/2020 08:39

Would Sharon be entitled to anything though. On account of her affair.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 02/01/2020 08:41

It's amazing how many people come back from the bloody dead.

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 02/01/2020 09:01

Would Sharon be entitled to anything though. On account of her affair.

Divorce doesn't work like that.

WireBrushAndDettolMaam · 02/01/2020 09:28

Another thing that passed me off about Sonia ringing the bank. The money stealing attempt was ages ago. Are we really going to believe that no-one thought of ringing the bank before Xmas day? Hmm

Sinead777 · 02/01/2020 09:53

Why do so many people on here call Keanu ‘Ken’?

WireBrushAndDettolMaam · 02/01/2020 09:58

Because ted called him ken one day on the show so it just caught on here.

itsgettingweird · 02/01/2020 10:06

So at what point in the who dunnit murder non murder did Linda end up in hospital?

She was definitely there at some point because we saw it. I wonder if she went to check on Keanu? Or did we see her being treated? I just remember her sat on the chair and then running off with the bottle of gin!
