The biggest storyline

Is keanu dead - is Martin a killer - I don’t think so

Will karen let it go or keep asking Phil

Who will dissapeer soon for 4/6w as he’s in my local panto as the villain

Will gray be found out as an abuser - karen and Mitch must be able to see

What is Linda’s secret and her drinking

Will billy and honey get back together

Will Alfie ever be back - will cherry’s mum come back

Will STACEY ever come back

And as we have had deaths the past 3yrs on ee - ray (18) Abbie (17) - ROXY and Ronnie (16)

Who will die tonight ?

I thought that Ted was in hospital and Keanu helped him and he called him Ken by mistake but it might have been Dr Legg come to think of it! Not sure now , but I recall Keanu being nice and we all started calling him Ken on here after that.
I liked Keanu and I'm sad his gone. He just fell in love with the wrong woman really but Sharon is a flirt and is funny and kind so I can see why he fell for her despite the big age gap.

I've noticed another plot hole, when Sonia cane back to eastenders she had been given a generous gift in a will of a patient that she had been privately nursing. Wonder what happened to that money?

I really want 2020 to be the year of the woman in Eastenders - Sharon coming out on top over Phil (I totally abhor people who have affairs but Phil was such a neglectful shit to her that I'm not surprised she went with Keanu); Chantelle leaving Grey and everyone seeing him for the scum bag he is; Honey realising her worth and that she deserves so much more (whether she finds love or not); Karen and Billy getting a happy ever after; Stacey coming back and giving Ben and Phil what for; Linda getting counselling and dealing with her demons as she really has gone through so much over the last few years and beating her alcoholism (& Mick and her remaining happy); Whitney doing well; Becks doing well and being successful at Oxford and Dot being happy with her millions!

The relative of the patient who died was threatening Sonia with legal action over the will but I can't remember any resolution one way or another.

@InvisibleWomenMustBeRead I would love that. I think we should all write to EE and ask them to seriously do this. It would give them a USP over all the other soaps which love to see women abused and downtrodden.

2 things they've done well on EE in 2019 (off top of my head):-

  1. Louise having after pains after having Peggy and a realistic after birth tummy

  2. Gray seemingly having a "great guy" persona to the outside world. See people mentioning that time and again on MN with abusive partners. Sad

Tobee, the ' great guy ' persona is true as even I thought Gray was ok at first. His also easy on the eye so that helps too as people also respond better to someone with good looks. It's been well researched.
I so want her to kick him into touch.

Also agree about Louise and the tummy / after pains. It's nice to throw in some realism now and again amongst the more outlandish stories!

Particularly good to be unglamorous about the birth as Lou is a young mum.

Gray is also all about being a "good provider" for the family; another thing that seems to come up as abusive partners.

Gray is quite easy on the eye although I was a bit disappointed in him topless ShockGrin

Oh no! Nothing worse than cold water esp on your head.
Some story lines they do well but sometimes it's confusing or stories get dumped mid way. I hope they handle the Chantelle story in a realistic way and don't have him just killed or something really over the top. Getting her revenge would be good but enough for her to also then lead a nice life without him about / be able to be herself.
It needs to be positive.

Louise's Labour was more realistic than usual too.

Gray and Chantelle's story has been done well too. Not the standard "wife beater" story.

Sonia never actually phoned Dots bank. The camera panned down to under the table during the conversation, to show the phone unplugged..

No, Chantelle's children are a bit ' Disney' in the fact they are well behaved, don't moan about being stuck with nanny Karen all the time and seem very well balanced.
All good I suppose , but I'd thought one of them might pick up on the tension as they are not very young kids and are about some of the time! Their dad has managed to fool them too.

So I've had my shower & hair wash (bet you were dying to know! Grin) and while in there was wondering what jobs the women of the square could do. Other than run a pub, club or be a female Phil? I got as far as Denise having the salon but does that count as it's from Patrick's money? I've forgotten who owns the restaurant and Habiba and Iqra's status there? Ash is a doctor and seems to be a much better version of woman doctor than Mad May!! But she's does it elsewhere like Sonia. What else should they do? Extra points if they can do it actually on the square!

I just thought Sonia was calling a call centre as they work all day every day.

I might have been fooled but I would have queried why they didn't ask to speak to Dot! Either the others have never called a banking call centre before or didn't realise she would t be able to talk on Dots behalf without L P A in place ; even then it's not easy. Maybe she has told them she does have L P A in place but I'm overthinking it as usual.
They are obviously in awe of the very super nurse to sort it out ..
