Karen has really enhanced her standing this series.

Well done Karim!, Chris was brilliant, he and Karen had a brilliant partnerships just came over so well!

Stayed off this thread for fear of being spoiled last night when the spoiler in chief was at large.

Not surprised tho. Chris is an absolute class act in every way. I hope this show really raises his profile.

As for Karen, she's my new favourite pro.

You know one of the things I miss about the "olden times" in Strictly?

We had a couple of posters on here who Really Knew Their Dance and could give us inform: foot placement, straight backs etc - and I learned so much.

Now it's just "story"and "drama" and similar bollox. I WANT DAAAAHNCE!

I love Karen - was never a fan before

Karen did come across so well this year. I've found her unlikable in the past but she has really grown on me. Her haircut is fantastic too.

Mind you stage school might well not mean ballroom or Latin dancing.

It doesn't have to. Learning dance teaches you how to move and things like "spotting" when spinning and other techniques.

Yes, I like Karen : she seems a genuinely good teacher.

Chris with his Call it a night comment said what we all would want to say in his position.

Emma in her interview makes me not want to vote for her - the fall in love with dancing bollocks is just that, given her previous experience. Maybe she had imposter syndrome but, having been in Chicago, seriously doubt it.
Kelvin has it in the bag I think - he might not have been a Debbeh but the ballet might have helped - the other two are ringers although Emma underperformed imho and I do wonder what would have happened had Will not got injured.
I will chuck a vote in the final at who does the best freestyle.

Did they give up on the idea of the Judges' Mentoring Dance/Co-dance?

DD has been dancing for 10 years. She would do FAR better than DS who's done none.

I knew in my heart that Chris would not get through to the final - but my word, I've enjoyed his time on the show.

And Karen is brilliant! I hope she gets the chance to have a decent partner next time. . . if she can do this with clunker . . .

I suspect that Chris is in many ways relieved to be out of it - he mis be knackered!

(Still a disappointment though)

I know it's not a popular opinion here but I love Karim and I love watching him dance. I would be happy if he won. However I equally love Kelvin and suspect he will be the victor next week.

She talks to them like they’re 5 year olds. I don’t get it. It’s like a nervousness about her talking “ad lib”. She’s got worse this year I think.

Happy with the final three, still 100% backing Kelvin for the win although Anton’s fan base is a bit unpredictable! I really hope the final doesn’t become all about him.

Well I can't watch the show live next week. I can't say I'm too bothered. Hopefully Kelvin will win it.

Karen’s always been brilliant whoever she gets it seems to me.... She’s had her share of underdogs if I’m remembering right (one of the hairy bikers a few years ago stands out) Do you reckon they’ll give her the best ringer next year?

I was convinced that Christ would go out unless he miraculously avoided the DO.
But he was such a joy to watch, every week he seemed genuinely surprised to go further and the way he accepted that he was in the DO and then that he was eliminated showed me that he is a decent guy.
