I’ve missed them doing a danceathon this year. Always a bit of a car crash when they make it up as they go along.

melj1213 · 08/12/2019 19:49

I love Chris' realism "Let's just end it here and all go home"

I do think its farcical when they have a ringer/judges favourite and someone who isnt as good/judges dont like in the dance off ... we all know who the judges are going to choose before they even dance so short of the favourite falling on their face in the first few seconds and not getting up for the rest of the song, they're going through

awaynboilyurheid · 08/12/2019 19:50

I’m not sure what dance training as he went to stage school which most on here have done, anyone would think he’d trained with Carlos Acosta the way some folk on here go on!

iklboodolphrednosedreindeer · 08/12/2019 19:50

Bless Chris - 'shall we call it a night'.

No thanks to Anton as a judge. He'd make it all about him, being 'funny' (I use that term loosely) and trying to outdo Bruno / outsmart Craig.

GoGoLego · 08/12/2019 19:50

What decides which dance they do in the DO? Is it the best dance or the last dance they did?

DingDongSchadenfreudeOnHigh · 08/12/2019 19:50

I agree Fuzzy.

Motsi started so full of promise, and has ended up full of - well, never mind.

"Fall in love with dancing"- my arse! "Someone like Emma comes along"- oh puh-leeeeese!

This is sentimental shite- I can't be arsed with it.

Piggywaspushed · 08/12/2019 19:50

Still not getting the 'storytelling' ...

Bluffinwithmymuffin · 08/12/2019 19:50

FuzzyPuffling

I wish they'd have Anton as a judge instead of Motsi. At least he'd be able to comment on the dancing,

Yes. This.

Elderflower14 · 08/12/2019 19:51

Did someone boo Chris just now? 🙄 🙄 I hope not.

Redcrayons · 08/12/2019 19:51

I’ve really enjoyed watching Karen this year. Never warmed to her before.

DingDongSchadenfreudeOnHigh · 08/12/2019 19:51

we all know who the judges are going to choose before they even dance so short of the favourite falling on their face in the first few seconds and not getting up for the rest of the song, they're going through

I'm praying for that . . .

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 08/12/2019 19:52

I've seen far worse rumbas than that from make celebs in the past

Piggywaspushed · 08/12/2019 19:52

What is it with these backless dresses??

I very much doubt Motsi could wear one.

iklboodolphrednosedreindeer · 08/12/2019 19:53

Karim went to stage school from Year Six and has been in the Lion King.

Emma was in Chicago

Kelvin went to Oldham Theatre Workshop (basically afternoon school & weekends acting coaching type stuff) and joined Emmerdale when God's dog was a puppy. Not sure how much dance training he's done in the meantime.

herecomesthsun · 08/12/2019 19:53

Lift still very awkward

ilovesooty · 08/12/2019 19:53

Still hated that AS.

chocolateisavegetable · 08/12/2019 19:53

I thought that was better than the first time they did it

Piggywaspushed · 08/12/2019 19:53

Lift filmed forma different angle interestingly!

Still looked awful!

GrouchyKiwi · 08/12/2019 19:53

I think he was worse than last night. Both lifts were shabby, he was unsteady on his feet, and occasionally ahead of the music.

Wolfcub · 08/12/2019 19:54

ThanksMustress. Poor Chris

awaynboilyurheid · 08/12/2019 19:55

Yes!!,

DingDongSchadenfreudeOnHigh · 08/12/2019 19:55

I liked Chris.

I hate that the expression on Karim's smug little face (to coin a phrase) tells us that the self-satisfied little git KNOWShe's going through.

YOU'RE NOT AS GOOD AS YOU THINK YOU ARE, KARIM!

WhichBin · 08/12/2019 19:55

Karim and chris are good mates I think.
I feel a genuine bromance between them

herecomesthsun · 08/12/2019 19:56

Mind you stage school might well not mean ballroom or Latin dancing. My daughter does a drama and dance school on a Saturday (and they call themselves a "stage school" ) and she does some musical theatre but none of the "10 dances" on strictly.

FuzzyPuffling · 08/12/2019 19:56

Someone remove Tess now..."You've earned that". She's off the scale on the Patronisometer.
