I thnk that was fair. They are all winners from it in terms of their careers.
Olivia and Stu were able to take what they had learnt in the MIchelin kitchens and showcase it in their final dishes. They were more inventive, refined and showed off technique that Exose lacked.
Exose is great but his dishes lacked the finesse of the other two, he is younger and less experienced. He didn't do so well at the Michelin restaurants. As Marcus said , Exose has raw talent. Being in the final will open up opportunities for him to train with the best. He'll do fine.
I think Stu is quite serious and quiet. I think hewas shy and lacked belief in himself but as the competition went on he opened up and started to smile more and be more daring. I'm glad cooking saved him from being disenchanted with life. He needs to move from Brum and move about to work for the best which might be difficult for his family.
Olivia is so driven, cheffing is a tough life. I'm sure she'll go onto to great things, a bit like Skye Gyngell.
