New thread. Nice chatting.

Will James and Ian finally have to knuckle down and do some work?

AppleKatie · 28/11/2019 07:46

I’m not sure James does weigh more than cliff tbh. He’s not that tall is he?

OP posts:
Confuddledtown · 28/11/2019 08:06

I thought he was a good bit over 6ft

TrySleepingWithABrokenHeart · 28/11/2019 08:16

Im probably completely wrong on the weight thing... I may have just read someone else suggest it somewhere!

KanelbulleKing · 28/11/2019 08:25

As a former larger person myself I suspect he's ruled out on medical grounds because of the crawling.through tunnels. Your knees aren't up to it when you're very overweight.

ScottishJo31 · 28/11/2019 08:33

I’m pretty sure it’a weight and age related combined... James possibly weighs more but is younger and fitter... there’s definitely a pattern if you look at previous series and contestants! As mentioned before Cliff looked surprised the first time he was ruled out and he wouldn’t have been if he was claustrophobic for example!

Eyezswideshut · 28/11/2019 08:41

Me and hubby think Ian hates James! I can't stand him. He's a patronising prick.

itswinetime · 28/11/2019 09:06

Weight and age might play a part but one year rebecca adlington the Olympic swimmer was on and she was ruled out of nearly every trial with water and a load of others if I remember rightly she was neither old or over weight and obviously doesn't have a phobia of water so it's a impossible to know why some celebs are ruled out more than others.

Catlyin is older than cliff though so it's not age and if I remember rightly even Anne wasn't sure why she was excluded from most trials at least that's what she said.

It only hurts the celeb in the end as not doing trials means they get less air time and go sooner so I can't get too worked up.

Just about to catch up on last night now.

itswinetime · 28/11/2019 09:27

Ian right is a spoilt brat and a nasty person he needs to go!

I'm glad James isn't leader anymore and he got taken down a peg or to on that trial!

Andrew obviously rubs people up the wrong way but I thought it was a bit off the way they were over the cooking Jacqueline and Ian came across as a nasty and petty!

When do we start voting people off? Unfortunately with vote to save I don't think we will see Ian or James going first Probably cliff or Adele depending on air time the next few days. Let's hope there's no stupid immunity challenge!

soupforbrains · 28/11/2019 09:42

@AppleKatie I’m not sure James does weigh more than cliff tbh. He’s not that tall is he?

James is 6ft4!! His stats from MMA day he weighs over 18 and a half stone.

Strangerthingshere · 28/11/2019 13:08

@TitsInAbsentia hope that was just your hope rather than a spoiler as I haven't had a chance to watch the apprentice yet as I watched I'm a celebrity last night!

Strangerthingshere · 28/11/2019 13:11

Not liking ian much now, thought last night he is going to start coming off as a bully to andrew who looks like he is struggling.

Feel sorry for jacqueline if reports are true.

Cliff seems a nice guy but being excluded from so many trials seems a bit unfair, I thought a claustrophobia maybe?

Gooseysgirl · 28/11/2019 14:52

I see that lots of spouses/partners of the celebs are arriving in Aus... first evictions must be imminent!

SpanishFly · 28/11/2019 14:54

Finally watching last night's. hahahahha at the 2 sportsmen being shit and NOT powering through the hell, like they've criticised others of doing.
And did anyone notice that as soon as A&D started counting down from 10, they just stopped? Sportsmen should fight to the last second!

Also, how did they know they had ended up back in the first room? Did they hear A&D whispering that? If it was pitch dark, I'd be surprised if you could possibly know it was the same place. A&D did far to much to help - "are you sure you've checked everywhere? Are you definitely finished in that room?"

SpanishFly · 28/11/2019 15:05

And andrew saying maybe they should err on the side of caution re tasting the food was completely correct. Ian just piles on and piles on. BUT HE'S DISAPPOINTED SO LET IT GO 🙄

AppleKatie · 28/11/2019 15:56

Ah I didn’t realise he was that tall my mistake.

I think there’s a good chance Cliff is over 20st though. Depending on his height obv.

Not much point speculating- none of our business really.

@Strangerthingshere oh gosh no, no spoilers from me, just a blind hope that the people I detest are removed pronto...bit like the jungle Grin

sockittome123 · 28/11/2019 16:50

I've lurked on and off for the last week and a half, so hi everyone!

Can't stand Ian, but I don't think Andrew does much to help himself either (not that he should have to).
Quite like Caitlyn, didn't think I would when she first arrived on that boat and blanked everyone else, but she seems pretty funny! (Humorous funny, not weird funny!)
Kate is a bit bland for me, and James just didn't know when to stop with his holier-than-thou girls-go-first obsession.

I won't go through them all, but that's what I'm thinking at the moment.

if I remember rightly even Anne wasn't sure why she was excluded from most trials at least that's what she said.

I think Anne found out afterwards that a psychologist on set had ruled her out because they didn't think she would cope if she did do the trials?

AppleKatie · 28/11/2019 17:20

That sounds plausible there are social responsibility limits that they have to stay within.

OP posts:
BillieEilish · 28/11/2019 19:53

Did anyone else get Kate saying 'Great for our treats but a tragedy for mankind' about 40% of men not thinking women are equal?

A) She has the measure of this, deffo hates James and Ian

B) Producers have the measure of this

C) Both

I used to dislike KG, she is now my heroine.

BillieEilish · 28/11/2019 19:55

Oh, we just need either James OR Ian to be potentially voted/voted off for the egotistical paranoia to kick in.

James would drop Ian like a shot if he sniffed out the public disliked him (Ian)

Quartz2208 · 28/11/2019 19:58

Did anyone see Dec on Extra Camp say that James had said the reason he was voted for a trial was because he had an argument with a Andy from Corrie - hence the further Corrie statement later

BillieEilish · 28/11/2019 20:01

Little shit with his constant corrie comments.

BillieEilish · 28/11/2019 20:04

I may be overly invested in this and MasterChef. On sofa with DD and some sort of virus.

MasterChef and IACGMOOH are my world this week and now I will have to see them both through.

Cherrysoup · 28/11/2019 20:09

I hope someone says something to Ian when he starts on Andy again. I think Andy is definitely a bit odd, but Ian’s just a fucking bully.

itswinetime · 28/11/2019 20:12

I saw Decs comments and I get they feeling they aren't big fans of James either but I might be wrong!

I'm not sure Kate has the measure of James and Ian yet she almost seems to but then why isn't she standing up to them more! She was almost pandering to in with all the cooking! I want her to stand up to them more like she did with the meals maybe then the others will start saying something!
