Yes, Jane I remember that well! I also remember some of them were unable to get up because they were so hungry and had so little energy. They'd look visibly much thinner at the end as well.

When do people start getting voted out? I’d love Ian or James to go first but people often seem to keep the annoying ones in!

Even though James went to talk to andrew, I will thought was he was saying was wrong. It was like well we'll have to put up with ians moods because he is feeling disappointed etc. Er no, how about Ian behaving like an actual fully grown man and not a toddler. It's not fair that he is making the camp so awkward. I feel sorry for andrew. Ian and James have donned themselves as alpha. Males and are bullying and horrible

@Honeyroar because it's always vote to save, rather than vote to evict it means that the person most people hate/dislike isn't usually actually the first one out. So long as there is some sort of loyal fan base they can survive the first few bootings. Because the vote 'against' them gets split amongst everyone else. Usually it's the quiet, relatively unknown ones who go first because nobody is voting to keep them in.

And yes to the other years when they were hungry. I mean, last year they did quite well in tasks but Em Atack lost a lot of weight. Remember the year with Lady C? She flat out refused trial after trial they got literally Zero stars for about 5 days in a row and I seem to recall had terrible luck with the dingo dollar challenge questions too...

I wondered if Cliff is claustrophobic. All the trials he’s been ruled out of involve closed spaces.

The Cliff exemption thing is weird. He did the Dingo Town challenge no problem yet cant do any others? Surely there must be one he can do that could be lined up next? They're giving him an unfair disadvantage.

Re the hunger - previously theyd win all the stars but still only get like 4 portions of meat to share out.

And the night after the roast dinner, nobody thought it would be nice/fair to offer the leftovers to the 2 people who hadnt been there/didnt get food brought back for them

I’m pretty sure that when Anne Hegarty was in the jungle, a lot of the exemptions were due to her weight? If my memory serves me correctly. Could possibly explain Cliff being exempt?

Surely James weighs a lot more than Cliff though? If it was a safety issue related to size I’d think James would have to be exempt too? I would think it’s more likely he has a specific health issue (possibly related to his weight) such as high blood pressure. Or it could be he has a known increased risk of something serious (Eg: heart condition?) that may require immediate emergency first aid, in which case ruling him out of tasks which require him to get into an inaccessible place would make sense.

I understand why we don’t get told the health issues due to privacy but I agree it’s annoying to have celebs constantly exempt from tasks.
