Will James and Ian finally have to knuckle down and do some work?

Andrew on Extra saying how similar people he and Ian are. Very repetitive. Like when he kept saying getting to know peoples "rhythms" on his exit. Think he's being a bit overly sympathetic - still sniping about Oracle Adele though aren't you?

Do you think someone on set heard Ian was doing a trial so tied 5 tight knots and threw a star down the toilet, yet when they knew Nadine was having a trial they tied 4 loose knots with visible stars? (I'd do the same )

I actually commented that the knots looked much looser in Nadine’s trial!😁

It’s fits the narrative that they are trying to edit in doesn’t it- Ian rubbish and a bit of a screamy baby. Nadine- warrior princess.

I didn't think the knots looked any different - just that Nadine was much more calm and able! Remember the way she ran across the bridge like a gazelle and the way she balanced on the rope? They defo weren't fixed - she genuinely just seems like she can blitz the tasks.

And did James seriously decide that Cliff and Ian were ruled out of doing the challenge, purely because they had just done one (i.e. he didn't want them to do it, as they both failed theirs)????? I don't think he ruled out Myles, did he (yet he had done the task with Cliff). He makes my blood boil more and more.

I think the knots would have been easier for Nadine, on the basis that she has smaller, nimble fingers! She was a superstar though.

I find Roman very attractive. I am twice his age, not sure what is happening there. Usually immune to the charms of just about everybody these days....

Oh yes she was awesome, totally unflapable and very funny. But the knots were noticeably loose in places.

It's so boring this year, tried to watch an episode but just cant be bothered. Think this show has run it's course. Cant they all go and do something worthwhile. It is so pathetic.

Yes I agree James has no respect for Kate (despite her being a strong woman). She needs to pull him up.

He was on a celeb First Date once and he showed his date a photo of his dad, and she was phwoar. But totally missed the charms of junior Kemp sitting right there. He is good on Gogglebox too, funny and gentle ribbing his dad about stuff.

agree - his dad is...sexy, I guess, but I don't find him attractive. But Roman.... SIGH.

Interesting Honeyroar that James seems to show little respect for Kate - considering that she does a similar job to his MIL. And she seems lovely!

I love Nadine and Kate, which is weird because I didn’t expect to beforehand, I’m not sure why, I always got the impression from the media that Nadine was a bit of a diva (the Girls Aloud days) and Kate seemed a bit too nice. Now I see that Nadine is actually really down to earth and sweet and Kate genuinely is really nice. I hope one of them wins!

Can’t stand James, he’s so nasty. I am not keen on Ian either but I think he’s just a moany git and harmless as he doesn’t give me aggressive vibes like James. James is like a coiled spring in there. He must be awful to be around. I love Caitlyn’s comment ‘why is she with you then?’ last night

Does anyone else think it seems a bit boring though this year? I’m not sure why as most campmates seem like decent people.

Yes it's very dull, again I'm not sure why. Ant and Dec arent the same either, just not funny

It is boring this year - I think they have blown the budget on Caitlyn (allegedly getting £500,000) and everything else just seems cheap - even the trials!

It is boring this year, they’re doing too well on the trials so are eating quite well and therefore aren’t as snappy as previous years.

I also don’t think they’ve gelled very well together like previous years have done and I’m not sure why.

I don’t think it is dull and I am enjoying it.

I agree that the reason they haven’t fully gelled is Caitlyn though- she’s too big a personality and too famous for the others to ‘be normal’ around. James’ appalling attitude doesn’t help.

I am also enjoying it, especially with having this thread to go alongside.

I think Kate or Nadine to win for me.

I also don't mind Ian as much as the rest of you. He's entertaining because he can't control his emotions. At least he's not sly and controlling like the other one.

After really disliking Ian for ages I warmed to him a little bit last night when he
a) spoke about his teacher who inspired and encouraged him as a child
b) gave his thoughts on whether women or men have (I can’t rennet the exact wording) equal opportunities in life.
