I'm surprised that there hasn't been further leaks about the mystery couple...they must have battened down the hatches!

Or because there isn't a mystery couple?

Up until now it's certainly been a romance free series, I expect after last year the producers were keen to be scandal free.

Crikey Schady What a story !!! Very brave to CHOOSE to have 3 dogs!! Though you obviously live in the country. I've got 3 compost bins too but they're closeish to the house so I disturb what ever MIGHT be in them when using them. I always hope that there aren't any hedgehogs there.

I would have one of dd2's spaniel's puppies like a shot (if she did go ahead) but with travelling to and from GB it'd be expensive and difficult. Though when I sit here quietly tapping way after feeding the cats and doing my keep fit dance exercise in the kitchen I'm pleased I don't have a dog to take out in the rain EVERY bloody day.

Well whatsisface who snogged Katya (I literally can't remember his name, lol) subsequently created a whole comedy routine about what happened and apparently used the phrase "her gay husband" during it. I always wondered if that was from the horses mouth I. E. Katya herself.

That said, Katya seems to have completely fallen apart when Neil walked so clearly there was a lot of dependance there. But on the other hand, people don't snog other blokes when they're blissfully content at home. So who knows. It's quite hard to tell what was going on there.

I mean if she was just his beard /Visa, then why was she so devastated and kept wearing her ring? It's a puzzler.

Seann was a twunt wrt Rebecca, absolutely but if it was a marriage of convenience and if Neil is in fact gay, can you imagine how he felt having to sit on his hands at the time and take the barrage of hate, while knowing the reality but that he would be condemned further for 'outing' him?

Not in the country ppeat, but close to, and we are blessed with a couple of "countryside" parks where we can give them a good walk, and as we arena the North East, the beach is only 40 minutes away, too, which is great.

On the rumoured couple I did think Maybe David James and Emma Barton. Just putting it out there as a couple who wouldn't normally go together 🤷‍♀️

Sean(n) made a total arse of himself and his gay husband. Joke just made it worse.

I don't think he was joking. He would have been told by Katya not to say anything and he had to continue working with her. He would have been told by the Beeb to ride it out and do repentant on It Takes Two.
His PR would have said outing someone would get more hate mail and was still no defence against him cheating on his gf. The press take outing someone seriously - it's why the Joe McFadden stories were killed (both his alleged night with Craig and the lot murkier stories of him threatening a guy off Casualty he had allegedly had a liaison with as he was scared of being outed). So when he had chance to say what he wanted to his own fans on his own stage Seann put it out there, knowing the consequences if it was in fact slander (although since the Jason Donovan The Face lawsuit, I doubt seriously anyone would consider suing wrt their sexuality being falsely reported these days as that seriously backfired. Silver fox and Technicoloured were in many blinds anyway but suing was basically treated as though being gay would be a bad thing).
It's odd though with Strictly - Johannes is openly gay as are Craig and Bruno but Matthew, Ian and Robin weren't in their tenures. Things are thankfully different now. But if you do marry someone to help them out with a visa you would never admit that, would you? It's why Kevin and also Louis Theroux are very quiet about their first marriages.

Sorry, why Louis Theroux used to be quiet about it (subsequently admitted it was a marriage of convenience four years after their 3 year marriage ended and joked that he hoped he wouldn't get arrested).

I don't think Robin Windsor has ever been "in" has he it was always known he was gay. The others I can't comment on because I didn't watch much

Yes, my (admittedly sparse, had to look up Joe McFadden fgs) memory is that we all knew Robin was gay.

Robin was always gay outside of Strictly but the producers still contrived to make out he was straight in his first series (this was well before he proclaimed he wanted to be Strictly's first same sex partnership with Marcus). He was short-changed imo, I liked him as a pro and wanted him to return after his year out when he hurt his back.

LOUIS THEROUX though

He's not gay, he just married someone to help them with a visa.

I was not inferring Louis Theroux was gay btw just that he had married someone to help them out with a visa (in the US) and is on record for admitting that.
That said, as a Russian, could you not get a working visa for here anyway? How did Pasha and Kristina do it or did they apply from the States?

Bless Digital Spy - the forum there have a thread explaining why Karen does what I thought were bunny ears - she is saying hello to her rescue dogs apparently who watch her on the telly and I thought I was alone in batshittery naming, talking to and waving at my car That said, I wonder who they watch with and if they do get excited/wag their tails/miss her if they see her on the screen? My other half's dog used to bark at his photograph when he left to go to uni and used to respond to his voice on the phone.
