Maybe AJ should take some professional advice. It struck me when Motsi was going on about how the bounce comes into the centre of the body - and I actually knew what she was talking about - that that should be one of the first things you tell your sleb. Like the shoulder-blades in the paso.

I agree with pp, I don't much care who wins this year. Alex is my favourite personality wise, but her dancing isn't good enough to win. Unless she miraculously learns to stretch her legs and point her feet she's not going to improve enough in the time left.

people knock Chris and Alex, but at least they do dances that are not really suited to them.
Karim needs to do a Rhumba. then we will see if he is any good.

Just checking incaught up finally the right couple left Aj was raging but the samba was just awful. Kelvin telling his dad he was in the dance was awful how can he think that was funny it was superawkward !

I've noticed that Alex's feet doesn't seem flat for a lot of her dances, but it turns out that because of ankle injuries sustained from football, she isn't physically able to point them.

I think the practical joke was a poor move on Kelvin's part - if the BBC has its antenna on straight they will gauge the public reaction and make sure he gets a twirl somewhere along the line, if not actually on telly then backstage with the judges, which will then be featured on the show.

I wonder if the BBC has a Damage Limitation Department whose job it is to mop up PR disasters. They should have.

Claud was wearing one of those 'up to the minute' loads of material dresses, so very bad for the environment unless it 's designer and made by immigrants in a Paris sweat shop .

That little gel acrobat is unnaturally supple; what we used to call "double jointed" (old gimmer here) IMO it's showing off, not dancing and too much knicker flashing for my liking. She should wear those shorts that Motsi was wearing. Her hair was ALMOST her own last night !!!!!

That style "acro" is the latest thing in dance, but for me it's just trick after trick with no impact. Big moves should be used for highlights in the music, otherwise what's the point. A lot of acro seems to replace artistry and storytelling with tricks and it loses all of the emotion IMO.

I agree, her dance was like a gymnastics floor exercise but without the artistry and expression.

This is the worst year for me, I was rooting for Kelvin but after that trick on his dad I've gone off him.

Can't take to Karim. Michelle was my fave but she quite rightly got booted off after that shit show of a 'dance'.

So I don't mind Chris, Emma or Alex for the win. (Although unlikely).

Well i think it would be great if Anton and Emma won or Chris and Karen . I can see pro Amys steely determination in the last few weeks her competativeness is oozing from her.

I think the dances are allocated by producers and the choreographers they know which dances they are doing in advance (I think)

@JumpyLiz I fast-forward most of the behind the scene footage, so I also thought Kelvin was talking about his dad dancing in heaven That will teach me to only watch the last 30 seconds of the training footage

I think the pros choose which of the dances they are doing (there are more dances - 14 I think - than weeks) but not the order in which they dance them, nor the music/theme etc. So it is theoretically possible to swerve a dance, but there’s not so many choices that you can miss out too many of them.

@VanyaHargreeves Thank you, so Karim didn't just go any drama school, he went to Sylvia Young from the age of ten?!? Bloody hell.

I agree with pp Kelvin's trick seemed mean. I wasn't a huge fan but I have liked his dancing. Hopefully that was a one off.

I'm also not that bothered who wins. The whole series is a bit meh.

There used to be a system of latin/ballroom/latin... nowits just gone to pot and it is whatevs

And Maggie Karim has danced in the West End In Lion King he was Simba.

I don't mind the ringers IF they say that have had experience. What I don't like is the prevarication.

I'm enjoying this series but am not really worried who wins (last year I was completely rooting for Stacey! )
