Panic thread!

Did anyone wonder why Emma, who was supposed to be channeling MarilynM had as much sex appeal as an egg!! Her walk at the beginning was like her commute to the bus stop, not sexy at all. The dance itself was QUICK Anton said brisk .

Polka I agree with you and I have always thought that Alex's feet need a lot of work done on them. Neil should give her a whole day concentrating on them alone. I do hope they stay in

Both Claud and Tess looked a bit yesterday One in a glitter sausage and the other in a black polka dot toga\plastic sack

Oh and Bruno did hit a right note occasionally. I LIKED the campness of the opening number , nice to see some semi traditional group dancing

The only person who actually pleasantly surprised me in their performance was Chris. He got some good shaping in and he looked mean!

I enjoyed Chris' paso. He showed another side (Karim take note).

I really, really wish Karim was with a different pro.
Hope Chris & Alex make it to the final. Also can u imagine how dull the final would be with some of the others who might be better dancers but are slightly dull.

To be fair Karim isn’t getting much of a chance to show a different side - no waltz or rumba? In fact not seen many waltzes or rumbas at all. Not many foxtrots either.

Amy needs to slow his choreography down and mix up the slower dances with the frantic ones. Please no rumba for these two, would just be awkward and cringe.

That was a very annoying dance from Oti and Kelvin. She's so brilliant, did she not think WTF are we doing? It was worse than Chris spending 20 secs sat in the roller coaster last week!
I think Chris and the team around him have player a blinder with his social media, his podcast, his upcoming tour. Win or lose he is going to come out of this very well.
Also noticed Dick and Dom were in the audience yesterday. And earlier this week there was a whole interview with them in the Guardian. Are they intending for one of them to be in next year? And why didn't they shout out "bogies"?

So that’s who it was! I KNEW I knew those two from somewhere but couldn’t work it out.... my kids are adults now so it’s quite a few years since I last saw their much younger selves on TV

I loved seeing Dick & Dom playing to the camera in the background when Tess did her bits, though one seems to have aged better than the other

What I don't get is that how come he can only do one facial expression when he's an actor? Amazing movement but lacking in much emotion?

He was in Emmerdale, I think he only used to do one facial expression in that too.

I don’t know why Neil didn’t cut that difficult leg bit and just did smaller bits of the leg work and added other bits she could do? Or is it compulsory for an AT? Sorry for the non-technical terms!

I think SCD is suffering because it just goes on for so long. They could easily have less celebs and cut it down a few weeks. This is why I enjoy I'm a Celeb. Also a shorter series would require less commitment from the celebs so they might get more celebs wanting to take part. And there's only so much you can take before it starts blurring into one hot mess.

Danny and Oti's samba was definitely the best but another good one imo was Matt Baker and Aliona, which they did at Blackpool.

I would second cutting down the number of weeks / celebs IF they scrapped Couples Choice and salsa (Charleston can stay because there have been more brilliant Charlestons IMO than salsas - or even sambas or rumbas TBH - and because it does at least have some distinctive steps and technique of its own) and started the two-dance stage earlier like they used to - quarter finals, let’s say. Then couples who got to the final would have done all of the 10-dances plus Charleston and AT.

Please please can Chris get kicked out? It would be awful to have an all male final and the other two are obviously going nowhere.

I find myself not caring who goes home this evening. I was gutted when Michelle left last week.

I’d like Alex to stay in even though last night her sickle feet and bent legs were truly awful. She’s still got time to put those things right and I’d hate an all-ringer final, ie Emma, Karim and Kelvin.

If Karim and Kelvin end up in the DO then I reckon Karim will go. However, I think that's an unlikely scenario.

Hmm, last night was meh. Hated Kelvin’s dance and costumes - and I normally love Oti’s choreography.

Karim - too bloody frantic again! Amy not very good.

Anton’s quickstep was too quick and Emma lacked any sex appeal as Marilyn Monroe.

I liked Alex’s dance but not the weird fast leg movements. Surely the choreography could have been easier?

The video of Simon and Kristina is fab, she was always one of my favourite dancers (overlooking her fondness for other people's husbands).

Don't Fear The IMO nearly ALL of the cast of Emmerdale have one expression. It's unbelievably awful. The odd token decent actor stands out like a pretty thumb !!!!!!

Did someone hear Karim telling Claud that he hadn't danced before? Really ????? What was his part in the Lion King? A tree????

I thought it was Tess who said it to him when he finished his routine. She was objvoulsy not paying attention during the 'I went to stage school' VT 5 minutes before.

I don't want Chris to go and would be more than happy to see him in the final.

No he wasn't the best dancer last night but his dance was the most entertaining. James Jordan said that too. Karim's was too frantic, Emma's full of mistakes, Saffron's just not very good, Alex's pretty bad and Kelvin's awful and full of faffing about

Could be Red I've given up listening to the dopey patronising person!! She talks over the the cheering too.

It might be an unpopular opinion but I've always thought that the AT is a weird dance , what are all those strange leg movements meant to to mean? Is she trying to kick him in the you knows ?
