Wasn’t that the whole point? Mel blackmailed Sharon to give up her share and sell for low price. The same price she was asking for her half, presume to fund life in Spain.

Sharon then told Phil she sold because it was to much and she couldn’t do it with the baby.

They never really showed her giving in and selling it that I remember, only referred to her wanting to/having done it. I think he did sell though.

I'm no lawyer but most banks will release funds to pay for a deceased's funeral - but as already mentioned, facts are not necessarily relevant here

I think banks will not realise anything until probate and still takes ages even if you have will and named executors. Louise rocking up to the bank with death certificate and saying hand over the dosh isn’t going to get v far. Not that soap land is ever realistic.

Akire - the exception is with funeral costs, so long as you show them a bill from a funeral directors they'll cough up quite happily in most cases (so long as there's enough money in the account) I believe sometimes they will pay the funeral directors directly to avoid anything dodgy going on but when my dad died they just gave me the money no questions asked (I was surprised but the funeral directors said it's totally normal)

It's a tricky subject but I was so pleased my in laws had a funeral plan! It was so easy and all paid for years ago.
They are worth looking into. Sad thing to think about though.

They could have made it much more PR storyline, linda gets teased by locals, Mik gets stressed etc. His depression storyline seems very tame as far as storylines go. Normally no one just takes anti dep on the quiet and all is well.
