Soooooooooo what an exciting 2 episodes

MEL is dead. Didnt expect that after the car crash tho agree would have looked more splattered and squashed , then just a bit of head blood on the road

Few weeks to Xmas - will Phil find out baby isn’t his

Don’t think Louise’s baby is keegans as he said he was a virgin to tiff

Tho when keanu starting dating LOUISE , keegan did say about his left overs so maybe he wasn’t a virgin .....

Would be an amazing twist if baby is black

Ollie. He could be a lot worse not sure why L is so cut olio

Not sure if anything else exciting is happening

Dentist and honey. She stays with him tho cheating

Ben bullying Martin. Needs to stop and Stacey to come back

Are kats kids going to make an appearance soon ?

Bobbys religion

What else have I missed

Another public service message tonight about the perils of over-sharing on social media. I do think Kaff is a bit too mature to get pissed at lunchtime and stagger round the Square.
There does seem to be a lot of boozing in EE, everyone seems to have wine glass in their hand all the time. They will all end up as alcoholics like Phil and Rainie. Linda will be next.

Akire · 13/12/2019 21:29

I missed the election chat, was co fusing with Ian and the GE. kept thinking results today, guess we have a lot more of this fun story to go.

Nice to see Jack doing some parenting!

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/12/2019 21:32

It was few seconds. Think Kathy and keanu mum

And yes linda is obv a lush

Kathy’s drunk acting was awful. Not a patch on Shirley! Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 13/12/2019 23:47

Phil does the best drunk ...he's like Roger De Courcey's sidekick Nookie Bear (Google if you aren't as ancient as moi ) Grin

RowenaMud · 14/12/2019 01:04

They really shoehorn big events don’t they? I presume that’s for the archives?

I think the hotel lighting was very kind. Whit has pretty eyes but I don’t think she is stunning. All I see when I look at her is her widow’s peak! Although beside Tiff who had so much fake tan on this evening, she looked radiant. Tiff actually looked dirty!

Yes to Bianca coming and going in a couple of hours. I suppose they are at least mentioning her despite not doing so through all their crises before now.

Ben and Hslfway got very serious very fast although Halfway has just come out. I loved Paul when he was in it. Is Ben always the one who gets the true love stories. I’m really warming to this one too. Ben is like a different person in a relationship. If he goes something awful on Phil’s behalf, will Halfway feel a moral obligation to report him though?

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 14/12/2019 08:27

I think they have to put the "current news" scenes in otherwise it looks odd when people aren't mentioning stuff. I like watching them with the knowledge that they were either hurriedly filmed that morning or there are deleted versions hanging around that cover all possible outcomes.

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 14/12/2019 09:52

I loved when they shoehorned in baby archie when he was born. There was no way they had pre recorded that as they’d never have guessed he would be called archie! Grin

Agree Tiff needs a good scrub.

Sharon mentioned she is 7 months pregnant so I’m guessing no Xmas day baby. Unless she goes really early.

dogsdinnerlady · 14/12/2019 15:20

Plot twist fantasy coming up! Sharon's in a phantom pregnancy.
There used to be a thread on here about how the cast of EE all resembled characters from the Addams family or horror films. People get buried alive, come back from the dead, smash each others' heads in etc. Jack reminds me of Boris Karloff's Frankenstein, all forehead and close-together eyes. As we've remarked before, Stu is a dead ringer for Uncle Fester. Bobby sees ghosts. I could go on.

The80sweregreat · 14/12/2019 20:00

Bobby is very underused. An ex murderer with a big heart and helping the community could be expanded on a bit. Instead he just mopes about.
The Ian Beale thing was funny! I bet they had a laugh making that!

QueenOfTheFae · 14/12/2019 20:54

interesting how Stuart is being 'redeemed' I like him now and think he's a good character with potential

love the flower arranging!!

whats the Archie ref?

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 14/12/2019 21:23

Prince Harry and Megan Markles baby born earlier this year.

QueenOfTheFae · 14/12/2019 22:13

Thanks, with all the elections stuff I had forgotten

iknowimcoming · 14/12/2019 22:13

I loved Stu's ideas for Scrooge themed Xmas decks at the undertakers lol!

FrenchyQ · 14/12/2019 22:32

Gray was having lunch in the same cafe as us today.... We wondered if he was going to see keaanu in panto

Akire · 15/12/2019 06:50

The Archie baby reference passed me by also. Stu and Raine do seem to have been written by real people unlike Cathy (Cathy acts drunk here) plots. The tattoo was brill and believable.

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 15/12/2019 07:30

Stuart and Rainie are really irritating. They appear to have the emotional behaviour of a pair of teenagers.

The80sweregreat · 15/12/2019 08:13

Stuart is ok, but Rainie winds me up.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/12/2019 10:19

Rainie looked really good when she came back from her rehab/prison term.

YY , Stuart has a very childlike innocence which can be quite appealing but can manifest itself (like the last episode) in bugging the BeJesus out of everyone .
Spontaneous Lunch? Not everyone can get the time (or indeed would want to )

Rainie will be back with Max when Ruby bins him off .

Stuart and Whitney ? Bit close to home but EE have many siblings dating the same person (often at the same time Sharon/Grant/Phil )

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 15/12/2019 10:23

I couldn’t see Whitney going for Stuart at all! They’re on two completely different wavelengths! Grin

The80sweregreat · 15/12/2019 11:31

Let's not forget that Stuart has a dark side to him! I like him but what he did to Tina and the man at the water mill mustn't be forgotten!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 15/12/2019 11:51

Yes he had a complete 180 degree turn around personality transplant !

In the Early Stu Days he was a Vigilante Paedophile Hunter .
Then stepped into Mick's shoes (and clothes - if Linda had put some elastic inserts into all the seams ) to take over the Vic and L .

I don't buy the I'm so caring and lovely , let's introduce some humour at the same time I'll kick my Dad's Waste of Skin Head In act .

But he'd treat Whitney well , I reckon, (even if it is a bit eurgh that she's just missed being his SIL ! )

Rainie is too damaged and with her eye on the next prize (and she deffo wants Max back. And Abi )

The80sweregreat · 15/12/2019 12:23

Rainie is a player. She has ' ulterior motives'
